SO... after a couple years of debating on whether or not to get a BA, and after countless consultations with numerous doctors, I have finally decided to get it done with Dr Hankins in Las Vegas. My pre-op is on Feb 14th (happy valentines day, hubby LOL) and surgery is schedule for the 22nd. I AM SO NERVOUS! My fear stages have gone from initially caring about what people would think of me (over that), to the terror of the unknown with anesthesia (being that this is my first surgery and my first time going under), to now just making sure I pick the right size!
I had my first consultation with Dr Hankins in August of 2016, and from the moment I walked into the office I felt so comfortable! Bambi the nurse is exceptional and Susan the patient coordinator is simply amazing as well. They have been so reassuring and have worked with me emotionally and financially every step of the way. To top it off, Dr Hankins experience is extensive and impressive and his work speaks for itself.
I want big boobs, but I don't want to look outrageous. I'm pretty active and am in the gym 3-5 days a week but I don't lift super heavy and stay away from working arms and chest too much so I'm not really worried about that. I've been told by multiple doctors many different size suggestions (from 300-450) for the look I want so now I am so confused as to what I should go with. I am very set on silicone, and I think around 400cc, but everyone I talk to says to go a little bit bigger than you think you should. I've given up on going for a cup size, but whether or not I should go high profile or moderate plus and how many cc's is what I am struggling with. I will be trying on sizers at my pre-op once more with Dr Hankins and this time I will be bringing pictures on my desired look. So hopefully he will have some insight!
These pictures are of my natural breasts bare and in an unpaded sports bra, as well as with rice sizers I have made (aprox. 400cc if I made them right).
Do you think I should go bigger than 400? Smaller? High profile or moderate? Help!

I say smaller. Your breasts are already quite nice! Go for 350.

PeOp!!!! SO NERVOUS!

So yesterday I had my Pre-op and I'm pretty sure the nurse thinks I'm neurotic..... LOL I am sooo nervous as I think I have a fear of surgery and going under anesthesia in general never having done it before. I asked SOOOO many questions and dissected the paperwork like crazy. The nurse was super patient with me and they let me try on sizers again and she reassured me that everyone is nervous and scared but it will all be fine! I spoke to Dr Hankins about my concerns with the possibility of developing capsular contracture or bottoming out etc. and he made me feel so much better about it.

I showed him my wish pics (attached) and he said if that's the look I want that I need to go with around 400cc with HP implants, under the muscle with a partial release. (We're going with a breast crease incision). He's going to use sizers in the operating room as my right breast is significantly smaller than my left and also has a slightly different shape. I let him know my concern of them being too far apart for my liking with HP and he said with my chest width moderate would be too wide. I really trust him I just hope I'm happy with the final size! I don't want them to be too big and look top heavy.

I'm also driving my fiance crazy with my nervousness. He's had several surgeries before so to him it's not a big deal but I can't stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong! Does anyone else do this/did anyone else go through this or am I nuts?! I try to read all the positive stories on here as it helps ease my mind a lot.

He really is supportive though, he bought me a $100 Victoria's Secret gift card for Valentines Day to buy new bras once they settle. So excited to be able to buy a non-padded bra!
Tomorrow I have to go pick up my prescriptions and probably buy an armed pillow since the nurse said I'll have to sleep on my back at a 45 degree angle for the first week or two. I also bought ice packs from Walmart and lots of garlic-free chicken noodle soup (not sure why you have to avoid garlic???). Anyways if anyone has any advice or suggestions let me know! I can't believe it's only a week away!!!!!

Best luck to you! I just read your story. One of your wish pics (the 9th with 3 angles) was my 2nd favorite I showed the surgeon! I received 375 saline moderate filled to 425 and I am in love :) I was fearful of anesthesia as I have children but it was all a breeze as I'm sure it will be for you too!

Seriously thanks to you I am 100% sure this is exactly what I want to do. Thank you so much for all of your posts and all of the information you posted. I’m sorry if I missed this information, but did you get the silicone gummy bear implants? Or just regular silicone? Tear drop shape or regular? Thank you!!

We are so opposite. Sometimes I think I'm too calm. I had my surgery 16 days ago. Hope your surgery goes smooth like mine. I had anesthesia and one hour later, I woke up with twins and nipple reduction lol.

Wow your breast look perfect! I had mine done 3 years ago and they are starting to sag. What do you do when this happens?
