19 Days Later…

I’d still give Dr Romanelli a 10/10. I love him, the way he talks to and treats me, and his overall knowledge & experience.
The front office staff I’ve interacted with, also 10/10.
His NP Cherie, 10/10. Amazing.
One of the other PA/NP staff, don’t ever want to see or talk to again. I don’t know if it’s inexperience or not caring, but not at all a fan, especially in the direct post op phase. Will not name names, but I’d suggest asking to see or speak to an MD or Cherie if you have a post op concern.

I’m still sore, feel like the 2nd week was worse than the first and third is better than the second, but going back to work in the emergency department after 7 days was pushing it. I wish I had been better prepared for what to expect with nerve regeneration pain, but being told it’s normal from the surgeon definitely made me feel better.

They look amazing, more natural than I thought they would. They feel great (minus the nerves coming back). I would never take it back. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Dr. Romanelli is an ARTIST!

I'm blown away by my experience with Dr Romanelli and his staff so far. I have wanted breast implants since my early 20's. I'm now a 34 year old nurse who finally said "F* it, let's do this!" I set up 3 consultations based on research I've done & recommendations from friends. 3/22/2023 - Dr. Romanelli was my first consultation. Before my appointment, his surgical coordinator Jessica called me to ask what services I was interested in, what I can expect, and pricing. My #1 was my breast augmentation. She gave me prices on if I needed a standard augmentation or if I needed a lift as well so I wouldn't be blindsided by the price if a lift was necessary. I was also interested in lipo in my arms, back, and possibly abdomen. When I first got to the office & was done filling out my new patient paperwork, Jessica took me back and started looking at implants with me so we could figure out my size range. Once we had an idea of the smallest and larger I wanted to go, Dr Romanelli came in. It's difficult to even verbalize how comforting his presence is. It felt like he was talking to a friend or family member. Being a nurse, I've worked with a ton of surgeons from all different specialties & some of them are great at what they do, but have the bedside Manor of a porcupine. He did a breast examination to ensure I was a viable candidate for implants and we discussed the size range I thought I liked. Initially we were at about 415cc on my L and 430cc on my R as he noticed I was slightly larger on my L. He also noticed my right areola needed a small crescent lift so it would be symmetric with my left. I then asked him about liposuction in my arms - which he talked me out of because he felt I wouldn't see enough of a result for it to be worth the procedure. For a surgeon to turn down money and put his patient's surgical outcomes and happiness first is a testament to his integrity. He also said I don't need lipo in my back, that if we did anything it would be a skin removal procedure/back lift, and he wants me to think long and hard about it since the scars are very large and my back bra "roll" is so subtle, he doesn't want me to do a drastic procedure when I don't need to. Again, he gained my trust and displayed such integrity by turning down more procedures. When I told him how shocked and appreciative I was of him telling me no to two procedures he could have made more money on, he said "I want you to be happy so you come back to me in the future". He cares more about his patients than the money, and that says a lot. I cancelled my other consultations and booked my surgery for the first available date which was 4/25/2023 & my pre-op appointment was 4/3/2023. I'll be back with more updates shortly!
