I have been thing about getting breast augmentation ever since my boobs stopped growing at around 16 yrs old. They are by no means 'ugly' and most people would say I do not need it, but I want it:)
I'll start out saying that I absolutely love my body, especially my boobs, and if the cons put weighed the pros I'd leave them be and be just as happy. I should add that I am a avid runner/weight lifter/hot yoga-er/gym junkie:)

I am 5'3, 115-120lbs, 34A. I would call my body petite but curvy. Measurements
Bust (without bra) 26in
Waist 18.5-19in
Hips 29.5-30in

I am getting my breast augmentation at Athenix in Bellevue by Dr. Hardeep Dhaliwal on November 3rd! I have already been to my consultation, just with the assistant, and will go for my preop appt with the Dr. on October 21st to finalize all details before my surgery.
CONSULTATION:
I went about a month ago and met with the assistant/front desk lady (totally forgot her name!!). She, along with three other ladies I met, were extremely comforting, relatable, down to earth, professional, caring and fun! She made me feel completely at ease and explained every detail so well and thoroughly. She was very realistic with what could happen, how things go, what I need to do, what I will expect and also in helping me with choosing a decent size to talk to the doctor about when I meet with him. My consultation with her lasted a little over an hour. I came in knowing 100% I was going through with the surgery and that they would be the place I would be going to.
WHAT I AM THINKING ABOUT GETTING
I have broad shoulders and larger hips for my body proportions so the size I feel i will be happiest and most comfortable with is a full C to small D. I am hoping for more upper pole fullness and natural cleavage. My boobs right now have lower pole fullness, no cleavage and are just kinda....there haha. I tried on 300-350ccs while I was there. I settled on 325cc, but since then I have been leaning more towards 350 or 375. I am without a doubt doing silicone, under the muscle with the incision being under the breast or on the breast fold. Through my research and the breasts I have been saving to my computer to show my PS have all been silicone, mod to high profile. I know everyone is different so when everything is finalized I will let you guys know what me and my PS settle on!
I am getting SO excited. My mental countdown has begun since it is officially ONE MONTH AWAY! Please comment if you've been to Athenix, had Dr. Dhaliwal, are about to get BA, have gotten it, are healing...basically if you have ANY type of opinions or knowledge you'd like to share with me! I will be posting again once I go to my regular des for all the blood work and medication (October 11th) then again when I go to my final PRE open (October 21st) and then most likely everyday after and as I am healing since I'll be beyond excited!!!!!

We have similar stats (except for age, lol) and I got 350s in June after having 225s for a year. I love my 350s. Check out my pics and reviews. Congrats!! You will love your results!!!

Mamamel your new boonies look absolutely amazing!! Literally exactly what I am hoping my result look like--full, natural and voluptuous:) I feel like our breasts before BA are kind of similar as well which makes me even more hopeful! I read you had the scar tissue issue with your first breast Aug, which is one of my main worries. How long did it take for that to come about after your first surgery? And did you still feel it was worth getting even though you had to have a revision surgery? Thank you for taking the time and sending positivity my way! I appreciate it:)

Thanks!! I developed a skin infection 9 months after surgery and once that cleared, a few months later I noticed my right boob changed (it got firmer and bubbled up at the top) and I realized cap con had started developing, right at a year after surgery. Yes indeed it is worth it even after getting a revision one year later. I wouldn't have considered an explant. I love these boobs and it changes everything!! It is worth 2 recoveries and $18,000 total!! Serious boob debt, but the "payoff" is worth it!!! That's why I spent so much and got a new doc for the revision-- to fix it correctly for the first revision.

Oh my! Sorry to hear about that, but you healed beautifully and seem to have a positive and realistic outlook about the whole ordeal.
Okay phewph!! I have been thinking hard about the possible negative side effects that could happen and if it'd be worth it to me and the only one I've been on the edge about was cap. Con. But hearing you say it was worth it made me lean towards that thought as well! Definite boobie debt, but from your results it seems worth it for sure!

I have to totally agree that this is just too exciting that everyone around me doesn't understand, or they're getting tired of hearing me obsess over it! I have totally been searching for pics, reading everyone's reviews, and I can't get enough. Good luck to you, only a month left to go!

Hi! I am SO excited to have found you!! I am scheduled for a mommy makeover with Dr. Hardeep Dahliwal on Dec 2nd. Like you, I found both Leslie & Elle to be extremely helpful and confident that I will love my results. I met with him twice as well and he seemed very knowledgable. I had the chance to talk with one of his previous MM clients and she sang his praises and LOVES her results. I am 5'7", 117lbs and a 34A hoping to go for a small to full C. I didn't like the 325Hp sizers I tried so he thinks 300 MP might be a good starting point and we will try more on during my pre-op. He said he always orders an extra set one size larger. SO excited to hear to hear about your feelings, perspectives, and experience. Let's keep in touch!

Ellie (thank you for saying their names!) told me that he orders larger sizes just in case which made me feel even better since I am going back and forth about wanting to stick to 325 or do 350! He seems to be very knowledgeable and keeps the patients lifestyle, needs and wants in mind so I am putting my faith...or should I say boobs, in him!

LoL!!! I am putting my boobs and belly in Dr. Dahliwal's hands too! One thing very apparent with Dr. Dahliwal is his commitment to safety. Here is why: One thing included in my MM package is the Microbody Contouring procedure (liposuction basically) for my hips and waist. However- after his assessing my body type (I am very lean) he suggested it might be too risky to do the MBC at the same time b/c it would be added body trauma to turn me over during surgery. While I am disappointed- I appreciated his prioritizing my safety. I am sooooooo excited to live vicariously through you since you are having your surgery with Dr. Dahliwal a month before me!

A quick question- what type of BA incision are you choosing? Dr. Dahliwal said he could do all three (under crease-areola-under arm) and asked me which I preferred. Since Elle had him do an under arm incision for her own BA I decided to do the same when I saw that her scars were almost invisible. You?

I love that! You hear all these horror stories about sceevy doctors which makes it very hard to really know if they fully have you in mind or just the money, but from my experience at Athenix and just my gut feeling I have absolutely no doubts:) (I'm the type of person where I almost always go with my gut and never once have I had any type of hesitation going forth)
I will keep up my posts and keep them as detailed as possible so you will be able to!!
I am doing under the crease. I was leaning towards under the arm but I changed my mind during the consultation because I will have to get my breasts done again in the next 10-20 years (if all goes according to plan) which would result in me receiving another scar under my arm since they can't reopen the healed tissue. Other incisions (areola or under the crease) can be reopened. Also some research I have done I have read that the incision under the cease gives the doctor better control of placement, assessing how much tissue you have, less chance of bleeding and less chance of capsular contractor. Obviously all incisions are safe and if it's done by the right Dr (like ours) then there won't be those problems!

I totally agree! One think Dr. Dahliwal said is that, in my case, I don't have enough breast tissue to even have a crease when finished so the scare under would have creeper up onto my breast. I LOVE that he is savvy enough to identify this at the onset. The only possible snag with me is that I have low platelets that could compromise my surgery, but he seemed quite confident that all will be well given how he personally conducts the procedures. (It is interesting because one doctor I consulted it refused to take me on as a patient because of my low platelets though two other PS I talked to said it wouldn't be )problematic

Oh that makes perfect sense!! Just by him being able to identify possible outcomes proves he's a skilled, professional, perfectionist plastic surgeon! The more you talk about him the more confident I become in instilling my trust in him! As you can see from my before photos my breasts, even tho theyre small, have lower pole fullness so they hang and have a crease.
I always find it odd that some PS will say it's not possible to do what you want and then others see no problem with it! I think it all depends on experience and how they personally go about that certain procedure. That's so awesome that he is able to give you everything you want!

LOL! I am obsessed too. I was asking my hubby his opinion on my different "wish boobs" photos. He liked them all! I turned to him and said..."your mom would be horrified that I would condone you looking at boobs online...!" LOL!
