ORIGINAL POST
42 yr old 5'8 160lbs mommy makeover results are awesome 5 days post op.
WORTH IT$10,000
I am now 5 days post op. I had a mommy makeover , 450 cc saline implants, with muscle tightening and lipo to the flanks. The first 2 days were cake walk. I'm assuming the general anesthesia was still in effect at that time. So far days 3 and 4 were the most challenging in regards to pain. Once the meds wear off I can totally feel the true pain at the lipo and drain areas. The drains are a pain in the butt for me and the drains combined with the garment are cumbersome at best. I really am very happy with my results so far and I'm assuming they will be even better as time moves on and things start to settle into place. Dr. Haiavy and his staff were very attentive to my needs from the time I made the appointment thru post op and after care.

6 days post
Today I am 6 days post op. I'm getting up…
Today I am 6 days post op. I'm getting up and around a little bit more. My BF went back to work today (so grateful on how supportive he's been). I'm doing a great job fending for myself. I can see that my boobs are already changing and I like the transition. I made myself breakfast and took all my pain meds. I still haven't pooped and that concerns be a bit. I've taken magnesium citrate, smooth move, and a stool softener and still nothing ( I did have some major gas last night that woke up my BF! lol!) . I thought I would be able to wean myself off the Norco's but that did not happen today. The drains are the bane of my existence. I go in for my 1st post op appointment tomorrow and I'm praying they will be removed by then. They are definitely producing a smaller amount of liquid since my first post op day. I haven't gotten the chance to try on my old clothes to see how they fit and that's something I was really looking forward to but now is just not the time. I'm really focused on healing as quickly as my body allows. I've read on other reviews here that we should not expect to see weight loss right away and it seems to be a correct assessment. I have attached a photo of PO day 6. Please let me know if you are recently post op and would like to share or compare experiences. :)

7 days post
I am 7 days post op and today was my first…
I am 7 days post op and today was my first official post op appointment. I'm not walking completely upright yet and the garment was way to tight to be comfortable. At my appointment the doc changed the bandage over my incision and I was able to take a look at it for the first time. It was thin and low and I could easily cover it with underwear or a swimsuit. I am very pleased with the results. I am still draining about 20ml from my drainage tubes so she could not remove them just yet, she said maybe on my next visit she will remove the one that has been irritating me :( I'm really looking forward to having drains removed to that I can try on my clothing to see if they fit differently. I haven't lost any additional weight yet and I was expecting that because my body is holding water from the surgery. I went in weighing about 159 lbs, right after surgery I went up to 168, and now I'm at 165. I feel super bloated and I still haven't pooped. The doctor suggested that I take Colace and Senna pills. I purchased those today and took them. Wish me luck...I really want to poop. Normally I just take Magnesium Citrate and down about 1/2 a bottle and that does the trick for me. I've tried the Mag, smooth move tea, suppositories, the only thing I got was real bad gas. I hope I'm not compacted. That's gonna suck! I had to purchase a new garment today from the docs office because the size medium they gave me to go home with was way to tight on my legs and seemed to be cutting off my circulation. I purchased the large today and it is a little more comfortable . I also purchased an abdominal board so when my tape comes off and my incision is healed I will wear it under my garment for added flatness! :) So far I'm really pleased with my results and can't wait til I'm 100% so I can get back in the gym and be bikini ready for spring and summer2017 :) Well I'll post more photos now. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions to share. Always looking for advice to take me to the next level :)

I'm happy to hear that you're already pleased with your results, and that you're recuperating well. I hope you'll continue to let us know how you're doing. Happy healing!
