Hi all! I had 1cc total of Restalyne (.5cc under each eye) to help improve the appearance of dark eye circles. I had my Restalyne done by an experienced injector who is also an MD. A day after my procedure, I got a mild tingling pain in my eyes. I occasionally get this mild pain (its only day 3), but it is enough to give me a ton of anxiety. My doctor tells me that the risk of blindness or anything going wrong is 0%, as it has already been 3 days after my procedure and my vision is unchanged.
It has been 7 days that I had restylane injected in my top and bottom lip. I do not know how much was injected. I feel like the top lip sticks out too much. Could I still be swollen or is this pretty much my final result? My lips also feel tingly, I never had this feeling before when injected. My lips feel tight and large. This is causing me so much anxiety as I look like I had something done and that is not what I wanted.
I had Restylane injected under my eyes for the hollowness. When the NP injected the Restylane she told me if I fill tingling in my nose or mouth let her know. I did a few times and she backed the needle out and located another spot to inject in. Is that a normal to do? Occasionally I feel a little tingle in my lip. Is that normal or even related to each other? I want to get my second injection but I'm scared because of the first visit. Feeling my lip and nose tingle was a shocker.
I had my lips done twice with juvederm, got an infection the third time (restalyne was used). Had it dissolved and redone again with restalyne and got an infection a month later). It is only one side of my lip that is getting infected. And even filler not in lips now I sometimes feel tingly sensation. Could this be biofilm? Should I not be getting them redone? Tips for success in getting them redone again?
I got them on Sat morning, since Sat night I started having pain in left side head and jaw!And next day left side neck, back, arms with tingling fingers.I saw the doctor who did the fillers today on Monday but she said she wasnt sure &it cant be related as I only had nose fillers and my nose looks fine! She gave some antibiotics for any infection and painkillers.Im still unsure and think it might be a nerve damage but cervical nerve is nowhere near nose! I also heard about going BLIND slowly?
Without thinking I popped a pimple applying very deep pressure for a long time (and kept at it). I panicked after because I had gotten restylane injected in my cheek area where I was pressing about two weeks ago. I seem to look fine but my face has been tingly for a few days. Is it still possible to move the product after two weeks?
I had restylane injections on 8/1 on the forehead for acne scar, and into my upper cheeks (1/2 syringe total was used). I went to see Dr. 8/13 as I thought things were uneven. I was told they were fine. On 8/14 I noticed bulging vein & felt pressure & tingling sensation around the right eye and cheek. I also feel like I have to clear a film off of my right. I can't sleep on my right side as the pressure/throbbing is uncomfortable. Should I go back to Dr. or seek neuro-opthamologist?
The injecting doctor said don't do anything and another doctor in the practice said upward massage in the cheek area will help. He thinks it irritated the infraorbital nerve. It feels better with upward message of Restylane material just below my eye. I am terrified of having another needle injected to dissolve some of the Restylane. Will it cause permanent nerve damage or will it just be an inconvenience until it dissipates? Should I continue massaging?
