2 days ago I had Nd yag laser for broken capillaries on each side of my nose. After the procedure I had two small hard blisters, filled with liquid. After I showered this morning I noticed that the blisters had burst and it is now a little circle shaped scab forming on each side. However, this scab seems to be formed in a little "hole" and around this hole the skin is slightly raised and red. I am very worried that I will be left with scarring, looks almost like chicken pox marks. What can I do?
I had my first Yag laser treatment for broken capillaries 3 weeks ago, and the dermatological laser surgeon focused greatly on the ones beside my nostrils. Unfortunately, the area turned black/red, blistered, scabbed and now has left these craters in my nose. What can be done to rectify this and should I wait longer than 3 weeks post-op before trying to fix this?
I am an Asian girl (Malay ethnic), with fair skin (but becomes brown if exposed). I now live in Paris. Weeks ago, i had a brown spot on my face. So, i decided to go to the Laser Clinic. They treated the spot using Cynosure Elite, Alexandrite Nd: YAG, 14 mg/0.4ma.. But after, immediately, it became blister! It lasted for 3 weeks and heals very slowly. After healed, there is a post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), (outer ring) Many say PIH may take up to years to be treated. Im so sad
It's been treated several times by yag laser 1064. It's gotten better through such treatments but the treatments always result in my skin blistering very badly and in some cases leading to scarring. When the doctors use the laser on the lowest setting it doesn't treat the redness. At higher settings it get's the redness to clear but causes the blistering and scarring. I really appreciate any advice or ideas on another form of treatment
1 week ago I had treatment with the alexandrite laser for freckles across my cheeks after carrying out a successful patch test before. The treated freckles turned dark brown and fell off on days 3/4. I went back yesterday to have treatment for the nose and chin. The dr. informed me that they would use the ruby laser. Today the spots look like burns and are raised like pimples. The spots are a reddish brown colour and have not gone dark brown. Is this usual and what steps should I be taking?
