For some background - I have had this chronic inflammation around my eyes for a couple of years now. It is around both of my eyes. My dermatologist has prescribed me a few items like steriod creams, jak inbitors, calcineurin inhibitors antifungal. With no luck they did a biospy w/results stating Compatible with focally dilated follicle eventually they tried vbeam and saw no improvement. Are they doing something wrong? They even did bruising settings.
I have quite a few telangiecasia on my face; mainly on my cheeks and nose. I had a series of 4 bbl treatments with the last treatment quite aggressive. It has been 8 weeks since my 4th treatment and I see little to no improvement. Would V-beam or another laser give me better results? I am in my sixties with fair, thin, skin. I also just had my first sculptra injections to help with loss of collagen in my face.
I've been reading that vbeam is the gold standard for rosacea laser treatment and much more effective than IPL. This is what most/all doctors say. However, when I read the reviews on vbeam, there are dozens of horror stories of scarring, no result or hyper pigmentation (that seem permanent being still around years later still). Why is there such a gulf in opinions from the doctors and users on vbeam?
Help! I had the Vbeam 5 days ago on my nose for blood vessels. The color has not improved at all, it actually got worse. Im afraid the bruising will go away but now Im left with this red/purple nose. Is this normal for day 5 or is something wrong?
I had 3 Vbeam treatments 3 weeks apart between each. The last one was 2 weeks ago. It's for Rosacea. I have not seen any results yet. The focus is on my nose it's always red. I take Minocycline and Imervectine also. My problem is i don't see results from Vbeam yet and since the last treatment it's even worse, i'm flushing everyday. Is it possible that it takes more time to see results?
I've had a red small surgical scar for 3 years already on my face. I've had 5-vbeam laser settings at 10.5joules 10ms 10 with no bruising and no results. I've also had 2 Excel-V laser at settings: 1. 7mm 8ms 5.6j 2. 7mm 4ms 5.6j No results and no bruising. It seems like doctors do not understand the settings of their lasers. Can any doctor recommend the correct settings? I know some pin point bruising will be the correct settings to burst the blood vessels.
I have severe rosacea +acne. Now on BP to keep pustules away. I have had 2 sessions with NO improvement. Settings 7.25 joules and 10 msec. I know its kinda low and last time i got 2 rounds. What helps best for broken vessels? Spot size? Adding also pics. They told me that they wont use high settings now as they r afraid to burn me but i think its kinda bs right? +flushing and burning a lot! Simplified skincare, no coffee no sugar no alcohol no spices, lots of veggies and smooties
I had Fully Ablative laser 7 months ago. I went to a well known doctor in LA to have a V-beam Laser and it made everything worse. I am thinking my face is resistant to the V-beam wavelength as I had this in the past many times for my 2 surgical scars with no results. Please help me with this with a real answer without copying and pasting a generic response to my question.
I had a vbeam 1 week ago. The days after I didn't let anything except water on my skin because I wanted to give my sensitive skin time to heal itself and I did not leave the house anyway (so Make-up was not needed). But yesterday I read that that after vbeam it is important to apply moisturizer on your face daily. Do I have to be afraid that the laser was not effective because I did not moisturize enough? Thanks for your answers
i had my 5th session of V beam ( pulsed dye laser) 3 weeks ago ,My experience with it was ok because it has removed the heavy redness, but my problem was never with redness my problem is flushing n there is no proper improvement in the triggers of flushing even after 5 sessions.Really frustrated no one talks about the flushing ,i 'cnt even go outside during daytime even with spf 50. i am treated with V beam perfecta (without bruising) i am hopeless ,tell me about any proper treatment for rosacea
