I have loose, crepey skin under and around my eyes. It looks OK at rest, but when I smile it all scrunches up and ages me. Im looking into getting Fraxel when I can afford the cosmetic downtime, but Im wondering if Ultherapy would help at all. From what I understand, Ultherapy is performed just outside of my problem areas, but Im wondering if the lax skin would get cinched up a bit if the surrounding skin were to tighten up.
During 2 consultations, I was told that the skin under my eyes can be pulled down towards the orbital bone and that could treat at least some of my problem area skin under my eyes. Is this safe? Is the skin directly underneath my eyes to thin to treat with ultherapy? Ive been reading that ulthera isnt meant for the think skin under the eyes, only on the orbital bone??
I have had filler in cheeks before to help with tear trough. It's not dark there just losing elasticity and want to tighten and lift cheek and under eyes. To me Ultherapy sounds like the best option but many practioners say it is just for jowls.
As you probably know, RealSelf and the internet is filled with ultherapy disaster stories. I saw a comment once about damaging results being due to either counterfeit devices or wrong settings used. In the case of wrong settings / treatment depth, what are the appropriate treatment depths for different areas of the face to avoid damage / bad results? (Thin undereye skin / lids, forehead, jaw, brows, etc.) What else should a patient know about settings / technique to avoid bad results? Thanks.
I am mid 40s with impressive cross hatching under my eyes and some excessive skin on upper lid as well. What are my options?? I know my forehead is not so smooth either -
40yo with some under eye wrinkles. Heard this can be smoothed using Ultherarpy and also heard of Thermage. I have a dark skin so CO2 is out. What are the pros and cons for each and which one is more safe?
