Hi, I am trying to figure out if I need Ultherapy or PRP. Can you tell me the difference? Im 51 and I am most unhappy with heavy eye lids, under eye bags, loss of youthful look, skin texture, sun damage and prior long term smoker. Any advice would be appreciated! Tia
I'm getting a rhinoplasty in November and decided against an eyelid surgery at the same time because they said it was too extreme for what I desire and to try ultherapy instead. I'm afraid that ultherapy won't achieve what I'm looking for. My eyelids are very droopy and I prefer how I look when they are pulled back (like when I wear my hair back very tight).
Hi, I am 35 years old and have some excess skin on my upper eyelids. I have tried Botox to erase some horizontal frown lines as well as give the brows a lift, which it did but not to the extent I would like to see. My question is, am I running a risk of assymetry by having ultherapy done to my upper forehead/brow/eye area? I never had high brows to begin with, just want to get rid of the "tired" eye look without looking freakish! :) Thanks!
As you probably know, RealSelf and the internet is filled with ultherapy disaster stories. I saw a comment once about damaging results being due to either counterfeit devices or wrong settings used. In the case of wrong settings / treatment depth, what are the appropriate treatment depths for different areas of the face to avoid damage / bad results? (Thin undereye skin / lids, forehead, jaw, brows, etc.) What else should a patient know about settings / technique to avoid bad results? Thanks.
Went to aesthetician. She recommended Ultherapy. She said, I've a doctor who both sells the equipment in the region, teaches other doctors, does it himself. I paid $3, 500. The doctor is a real Dr, I did look him up, had the machine w/in a large briefcase-ish thing. The screen did not show the cartoon woman; I saw a big numeral in/decreasing (i.e.81) It did not hurt at all-felt VERY mild tingling. I see a little result in my eye lids, but elsewhere on my face-nothing. Did I even get Ultherapy?
I have been told that I have a small or narrow 'frontal muscle' in addition to loss of volume at both temporal regions contributing to outer hooding of my lids. What are my best options long term to regain volume in the temples and help my eyes? Ulthera was suggested but has very poor satisfaction rate? I am also afraid of 'nerve damage' from Ulthera. Thank you in advance...
Recently diagnosed with limited scleroderma, mostly noticeable in my hands which are slightly puffy and tight. No other visible symptoms. I did Ultherapy back in 2012 and had a great result. Was hoping to go back in for a touch up, but now that I have this diagnosis, should I not get the procedure done? Have a little Jowl and eyelid sag I was hoping to rectify. Thx!
