Liposuction or Tummy Tuck Revision? I had an abdominoplasty 3 years ago and I have serious dog ears. I would like to have them fixed but I'm uncertain if I need a revision or if liposuction will help. I realize weight loss will help with this as well but I would like to address what option will be best for me.
I am 8 mos post op for TT/lipo, lift and implant replacement. CONCERNS: rolls when i sit, belly sticks out with B shaped silhouette from side view, flap under left breast and breasts are diff size. Have only seen her 3 times since SX. Nurses did post op appts. When i did see her at 6 mos mark, she told me her PA would remove dog ear and tuck in breast flap but i have to pay surgical fees. Im unhappy, she doesn't seem concerned. Am i just body blind since it's been 8 months ? Recourse?
Had a TT 15 yrs ago, 2 higher on one side, dog ears which the surgeon had no idea what they were & told me to lose weight. (Id lost 10 lbs since surgery 6 wks earlier.) Had revision; it was less tilted but still off, dog ears less pronounced. But even while I was in the original compression garment, I could see that my abdomen was now shaped differently, like a pair of parentheses instead of my natural hourglass. This remains to this day. Can a revision help?
I had a tummy tuck early 2023. I was told by the surgeon that I would need an extended tummy tuck to be truly satisfied but I was taking part in a post operative pain management study so the standard tummy tuck with muscle repair was 100% free.I talked to the surgeon about getting the dog ears removed after. I moved and honestly was happy with the before & after. Now Im looking into dog ear removal, can I get just that done? What is the cost range? Do I need a full revision?
Hello! Question based on my picture can someone tell me if I can get a second TT? The excess skin in my lower abdomen is really bothering me. I would love to have my Abs defined and maybe get a back lipo and back lift. Please advice! I also have the dog ears and that bothers me too.
I had a tummy tuck in March 2023. Overall Im satisfied with the exception of the unevenness and the dog ears. Is surgery needed to correct or can this be corrected through diet and exercise? Thanks in advance!
I had a tummy tuck three years ago and I feel like there is still loose skin on the sides, dog ears and the vertical incision did not heal well. I am also not a huge fan of the belly button. Do I have enough skin especially near the vertical line? I also would like to liposuction my back but I am worried it will make my skin loose. Any other advice is welcome
I had a tummy tuck performed 3 months ago and I'm not pleased with the result. I feel like there was no liposuction performed and I have what is known as dog ears. I don't think he extended the excision enough. Does it look like I will need a revision or can liposuction provide the results I'm looking for?
I had a tummy tuck and lipo of the flanks October 2021. Every post op i expressed concerns of bulkiness at the end of the incisions on each side. I was told repeatedly that it was just swelling and to give it time. 2 years post op, still the same issue my a flap of skin hangs over the incision. My surgeon is telling me I need a hip flip ($3k) What should I do? I just want to be comfortable in my own skin!
