I'm scheduled for a thigh lift February 2nd. Is there a specific brand or amount of compression I should be purchasing? Also, any food prep must haves suggestions would be amazing. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions. Your time is much appreciated.
I have a thigh lift scheduled for Oct. 1st. My surgeon doesn't use compression garments and I'm wondering about the best thing to wear for post-surgery recovery. A skirt/dress so there's no rubbing on the bandages? Or loose pants so my legs aren't rubbing against each other?
My plastic surgeon had indicated that she doesn't suggest any compression garments initially after surgery. Afterwards, she indicted when the scars has had time to heal I cold wear one of my choosing. I would like to know what others suggest
I am a man who had a thigh lift with lipo about 10 weeks ago. This is a procedure I had about 8 or 9 years ago so I thought I knew what to expect. This time I am having some jock itch and chafing as I begin to stop wearing the compression garment and start wearing regular underwear. Any suggestions for what type of underwear to use? I really want to use boxer briefs because they were most comfortable prior to my surgery but they are quite uncomfortable now. Help!
Opinions how do I get rid of it? I had fat transfer to my ass and banana rolls 6 weeks ago to fix aggressive Lipo done by another surgeon. The plastic surgeon has done her best with what was a mess she is wonderful . However she was realistic with me and said it might not work on all the rolls. One side seems to be ok the other, the roll is back. I wore the compression for 6 weeks,Im undergoing skin tightening monthly with the skintite machine. Will a thigh lift be my only option now? Thanks
Had a thigh lift 4 weeks ago. The stitched area is around the leg line of the panty. I have had no pain till now. Today my stitch area is hurting some. On scale 1-10 irritation is 4. Is this normal? Also, I have been wearing compression garment since surgery.
After putting some pressure On It noticed my compression at drain site was wet took compression off to look at lump it was smaller so I put firmer pressure on it with a towel and felt it pop the drain bulb instantly filled up this has happened a few times since putting pressure on it more fluid releases. If I leave it alone will it eventually absorb or be pulled out by the drain? The pocket as I call it seems to keep filling Some times when I put pressure I get some bloody looking fluid too.
I had surgery on September 5, 2018. I have been wearing the compression garment that was provided to me by my surgeon. I keep getting awful bleeding hemorrhoids. I thought it may be the garment. I slept one night without it and was almost completely better the next day. I put it back on and can instantly feel hemorrhoids forming. Every time i have a bowel movement. The toilet is filled with blood. The garment is too big now but still gives hemorrhoids. I have tried differnt ones, same result?
I have chronic venous insufficiency in my legs that is controlled by wearing compression socks. My calves and thighs are very disproportionate. I am considering a thigh lift because of loose skin/fat from weight loss. I am thinking tighter thighs could help the venous insufficiency? I am not opposed to wearing a full leg compression garment afterwards.
