(Added to part above(was to long I guess)) Is this bad? Any suggestions for next time? 25% at home tca chemical peel. Using cotton ball. Cleansed face first. Felt the product working (heat, tingling, burning etc) With patch test- no bad reaction. I am half white and half vietnamese, but on the lighter skin tone side. Using for acne scarring; mostly ice pick scarring.
I did a 25% TCA Peel 3 nights ago. My cheeks frosted really well, when they did I put neutralizer on them. next day my cheeks and some other areas are really pink and have dark brown spots. These really red spots make me feel like I burned and might scar. It doesnt hurt, but it hasnt started to peel yet like other spots. What can I do to treat it if it is burnt? Ive done one before either 10/15 and had great results. Im using burn cream and essential oils mixed in coconut oil for moisturizer
I got 2 layers of 15% TCA yesterday. But frosting was patchy now only that place is scaby. Shall I repeat this again today on remaining spots where no frosting. So I can get even skin peeling all over the hand
They have no texture, some have a little texture. I used a 30% TCA peel to do the cross method last night and woke up to this, I definitely frosted, I removed the tca then applied neosporin, please help, Im worried that these are going to stay dark spots, it looks worse now, Im trying to fill in my icepick scars
I went to a local DR to have a TCA peel on my chest area. Ive been on these forums reading about TCA peels and frosting. Using 25% and 3 layers there was no frosting though. I was too scared to get another layer. I feel i may have wasted my money and will only end up resulting in a superficial peel. Is not frosting with that many layers a bad sign? Do you only frost on the face? Too nervous to go back if results will only be minimal.
I am an Indian and yesterday I went a tca peel 25% and later it was frosted for few hour and later turned to be purple/brown? Is it processing and normal after effects or should I be worried?? Or should I consult doctor?? And if it's damaged, how much money would it cost to get it proper?? Please let me know
I just did a tca cross treatment on myself with 100% solution to get rid of my acne scars on my forehead. I applied it about 30 minutes ago it frosted but the frost won't go away and Im really scared that it won't go away. Will it go away on its own?
I buy 100% TCA and dilute it to 20% with distilled water. 2 days ago I stuck my qtip into the bottle to spot treat 2 places on each cheek. It was the 100%!!! I immediately splashed with water and put a paste of baking soda on it, but it instantly frosted. One side it ran down my face. I have 2 significant burns on each cheek. I've been applying silvadene cream 2 or 3 times a day, spf 50 and aquaphor at night. Anything else I should do other than throwing the TCA in the trash??
I had a TCA Cross 30% done last June 24, 2016 (Friday) then after about 3 days, scabs have formed. I have accidentally scratched off one or two of the scabs then it left a depressed mark! I panicked so I contact my dermatologist then he said that proceeding with a full-face TCA Peel 30% so that my skin will be evened out. The rest of my face frosted except for the areas that were already treated with TCA Cross, those with scabs. Please tell me what's most likely to happen to my face!
