I recently did a TCA chemical peel at home and had no frosting. Is this bad?

(Added to part above(was to long I guess)) Is this bad? Any suggestions for next time? 25% at home tca chemical peel. Using cotton ball. Cleansed face first. Felt the product working (heat, tingling, burning etc) With patch test- no bad reaction. I am half white and half vietnamese, but on the lighter skin tone side. Using for acne scarring; mostly ice pick scarring.
