Is it normal for my skin to turn purple and brown after a TCA peel? (Photos)

Question

I am an Indian and yesterday I went a tca peel 25% and later it was frosted for few hour and later turned to be purple/brown? Is it processing and normal after effects or should I be worried?? Or should I consult doctor?? And if it's damaged, how much money would it cost to get it proper?? Please let me know

From what I can tell in your pictures, you are having a normal reaction to a TCA peel and will probably have beautiful results!  Make sure that you are keeping your skin well hydrated and are using a good, physical-block sunscreen and reapplying frequently.  Do not pick at your skin.Honey is very anti-inflammatory.  You can apply a thin layer of honey mixed with a small amount of warm water and let it sit on your skin for 15-20 minutes two or three times daily.

Although this looks harsh, it is actually fine. Resist the urge to lift off the skin, since then you might create a scar.  Let it peel off naturally.  You can use a spray bottle to mist your face with water at this time if you need for comfort.

Looks normal but we do not know any more information. Pre prep? Was acetone scrub used? How many layers? The best person to ask is your specialist, however given the skin type and peel strength PIH is almost certain. SPF and wound care essential. Start HQ in 8 days. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
