Hi i had a high smas facelift 5 months ago i have two lumps under my eyes that dont go away dr says give it time i am very worried it deform my face also the swelling isstlll there can this be posible ? Does weightliftin and hiit trampoline make my swelling worst ? I still llook weird because the lumps and swelling is it normal?
The lump appeared the day after surgery. My doctor checked it and said it would resolve over time. My face is misshapen on that side and the lump is causing my glasses to sit crooked on my face. The rest of the swelling seems to have dissipated, but the lump is as big as ever. Is it possible it is scar tissue from a hematoma that wasn't treated? What are my options?
Ive been back to PS twice for steroid shots under my chin because he said it might be some scar tissue. Last shot was 6 weeks ago. Shouldnt he know what is causing this and not be guessing? I feel like I look deformed. Is there a way to fix it? Ive seen tons of pics of people getting this procedure done and they are completely smooth under their chin just a few weeks after surgery. Im really getting concerned.
I am 4 weeks following SMAS face and neck lift. On one side of my face I can feel two little hard lumps, feels like an internal stitch. The side of my face is quite hard and quite dark. I know final results are 6-12 months but wondering if this is normal at this stage of healing? Thank you
I am 5 months post op from SMAS Neck lift and facelift and I still have some swelling under jawline. It appears as a double chin? Neck area seems to swell more in the evening? I also have an indentation in chin along jawline with a undefined jawline on both sides. Should I have a revision or would steroid injections help me. Will this correct itself with more time? Thank You
After being closed, my cheeks started bleeding (while I was having my eyes done) and both were reopened and suctioned. That was six weeks ago, and I'm experiencing increasing lumpiness (mostly small bumps under the skin)and have had slight indentations on each cheek since the surgery that have not gone away. Does this sound typical or more like aggravations from the reopening; in other words, should I be worried?
