Hi i had a high smas facelift 5 months ago i have two lumps under my eyes that dont go away dr says give it time i am very worried it deform my face also the swelling isstlll there can this be posible ? Does weightliftin and hiit trampoline make my swelling worst ? I still llook weird because the lumps and swelling is it normal?

How long after getting a BBL is it safe to fly?

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a cosmetic procedure that involves removing fat from one part of the body and transferring it to the buttocks to enhance their shape and size. After a BBL, it's generally recommended to avoid sitting or lying on your back for at least two weeks to allow the transferred fat to settle in its new location.

As for flying, there is a risk of developing blood clots in the legs during long flights, especially if you are sitting for an extended period. This risk may be higher after a BBL, as the procedure can cause swelling and inflammation, which can increase the likelihood of blood clots.

Therefore, it's generally recommended to wait at least two weeks after a BBL before flying. During this time, you should avoid sitting for long periods, stay hydrated, and move around as much as possible to help reduce the risk of blood clots. It's also a good idea to wear compression garments to help reduce swelling and promote healing.

However, it's important to note that every person's recovery is unique, and your plastic surgeon is the best person to advise you on when it's safe for you to fly after a BBL based on your individual circumstances.

It is not uncommon to experience swelling and lumps following a high SMAS facelift. However, it's important to follow up with your plastic surgeon regularly to ensure that the healing process is progressing as expected.

Five months post-surgery is still within the typical recovery period, and it can take up to a year or longer for the final results to become apparent. While it's understandable to be concerned about the lumps and swelling, it's important to be patient and follow your surgeon's advice.

Weightlifting and HIIT trampoline exercise may increase your blood pressure and lead to more swelling in the face, so it's generally recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for several weeks after a facelift. However, low-impact exercise such as walking and light stretching can help improve circulation and promote healing.

The fullness on the upper cheek can be a result of recruiting the superior tissue of the cheek. You may want to give this more time and if your surgeon recommends see if massage improves this area. Also radio frequency with surgeons permission can also help. At one year post op if issue persists another surgery maybe required to untether this area, perhaps with a different surgeon and technique. Best of luck.

Swelling at 5 months is not normal. Ask your surgeon if he tried to build up that area with tissue.  Perhaps it might respond to Kenalog injections.  Please talk to your surgeon.
