Lumps in neck with swelling and Dimple in Jawline. Any suggestions? (photo)

Without knowing if your concerns started right after surgery or just recently and without examining you in person, it is a bit more difficult to assess what may be going on. In a gravity-dependent area like that, you may have a pocket of fluid called a seroma that has walled itself off and cannot be resorbed. This would feel like a water balloon and would have to be drained. If the area is more firm, this could also be a lymph node, but less likely at 5 months after surgery. If there was fat removed from under your neck, this could also be an area of retained fat that looks larger relatively because the surrounding areas are smaller. As far as the dimple goes, this could be scar tissue or a suture that is tugging on that area. I would highly recommend you make an appointment with your plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and to have an in-person examination to help decipher the problem and how to go about improving upon it.
