4 month old indented. Scar. Is somewhat slowly healing and most Drs say not to excise however last Dr said there is some remaining dirt or gravel which I always thought Also . He wants to clean the gravel and stitch the wound ER Dr was awful and refused to clean or irrigate the wound Question-Will any non surgical modalities help exfoliate any dirt or gravel to help wound healing instead of cutting ?note I wont do co2
Scars are dark & itch when rubbed, I wear tights/stockings or exfoliate in the shower. They itch like mosquito or ant bites. I pick at them and tear the skin and this clear water like fluid comes out when I squeeze. After the scab grows over, the scar gets soft again. This has been happening for a year now and the scars keep getting darker and darker. I haven't worn a shirt dress in over a year. Or shorts or anything that shows my legs. It's really bothering me and I'd like to know my options?
This was on July 15th. I feel like the mark has not changed over the time and we are not rounding the 3 month mark. I went to the dermatologist and she told me to use differin (which as you can tell I'm going through a purge period) I went to another derm to inquire about v Cuerta laser and she said I was appropriate for it and the mark will fade on it's own. Is that true will the mark fade? Is there anything to expedite the process?
Almost a year ago I woke up with a large cut on the front of my leg. I have no clue how this happened. The weird part is our sheets & bedding are all white, yet nothing was stained with blood. Over the last several months I have tried a few different creams and exfoliants to try and remove it, nothing is really removing it. This has really affected my self confidence, now I don't wear anything that shows my legs :(
