Hi, I recently had a rhinoplasty in July of 2022, I had a hump and the doctor was able to rasp it down and lift my tip. However, after a few months, I noticed bumps forming on my bridge, my right side nostril looks bigger than my left, and my nose tip is slightly slanted to my left. He told me he could rasp it down and so I got a revision. He made it worse and now I still have the bumps and the slanted tip. Its my biggest insecurity. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I had an alarplasty and ended up with uneven nostrils. I asked my provider about a revision and she said due to my facial structure, one side is lower than the other causing asymmetry. She mentioned there is nothing that can be done to fix it due to my anatomy. Is this true? Should I look for a second opinion for this another revision?
I got a rhinoplasty 4 weeks ago. I recently got sick and instinctively tried to blow my nose (I was unable to think clearly due to not feeling well), before feeling a sudden pain upon pinching it. Is this likely to have permanently damaged my results? The nostrils appear uneven now (previously they healed to the point of being symmetrical). Will I need a revision, or is it likely just swelling? Or is there anything I can do to self correct? I'm really worried.
Ive had a rhino and a revision with the same doctor to fix the nose creases that formed from my first rhino. I dont know if he cut too much skin and thus caused these creases but he told me he could fix it by adding some stuff to fill in the creases. Upon waking up from my surgery I noticed he did no such thing and since he fixed the assymetrical nostril from the first time, he cut more skin and thus formed more of a crease from the first time. How can I fix this during my third nose job?
I am 8 months post op rhinoplasty and I am not satisfied with the nostrils being so uneven. The right side is fat and higher while the left side is slim and lower. I expressed my concern with my doctor and he said the the nostrils will take time to even out. Should i wait for one year before getting a revision? What type of procedure can fix this?
1 year go in July . I've had a revision rhinoplasty/septoplasty with my rib cartilage to fix my deviated septum and fix my drooping tip i wanted an elegant straight delicate nose . But after only few weeks post op I noticed the crookedness of my nose to my left side and how uneven and flared the nostrils are from all angles, and how the tip looks still a bit droopy from profile and 3/4view . I waited patiently a whole year to do this post . what do you guys see please help ! Thank you !
Hi, i had a relatively large nose before rhinoplasty, septoplasty and turbinectomy, alar base reduction, with a big dorsal hump .Now my nose is quite the opposite and is overly ski slope with an overprojected tip which looks specifically more overprojected at 45 degree angle. Should i seek a revision? Professional opinion? Would it be a simple tip reduction that would most likely achieve good results.
Hi there! I had a rhinoplasty right after I turned 18 (4 years ago now), but as years go by my nostrils seem to become asymmetrical. It's not very noticable on selfies, but with flash/inverted pictures my nose ends up looking so asymmetrical - could it be fixed with a minor procedure (I'm scared to go under general anesthesia again)?
I had my rhinoplasty done a year ago by a board certified plastic surgeon. She used a rib graft to build a bridge. My nostrils are severely uneven and now my tip is dropping. I've now had several people say there's a blue/purple line across my nose where there is a gap between the graft and my tip. The bridge also looks uneven and my side profile is terrible - you can see the graft through my skin. During my post op, she said it's uneven because my tip hasn't dropped. What do I do?! :(
