Hi, I am a male patient who underwent a rhinoplasty 7 months ago for a deviated septum as well as cosmetic. The goal was to narrow the bridge. 7 months in and my nose looks extremely feminine and narrowed. I feel like the lower half of my nose was not preserved and my nose does not belong on my face. I understand I can still be dealing with swelling, but my nose looks off. Would a revision help?
Ive had two rhinoplasties and requested for a narrow nose, but the results are not what i desired. the first picture is me 5 months after my last rhinoplasty. I had a graft done to fix a nasal collapse but now my nose looks even more wider than it was. the second pic is the edited version of what i want my nose to look like. Would ultrasound rhinoplasty be able to achieve this rather than breaking the nose? the bony part is wide so its not just swelling causing it to look wide..
Had my primay rhinoplasty 15 months ago. I've been diagnosed with bilateral nasal valve collapse, nasal obstruction, inverted v deformity, pinched tip, over projection, overresected dorsum, deviated septum, concha bollosa, hypertrophic inferior turbinates. Ive been told I need repeat osteomies, spreader grafts, dcf graft, alar rim grafts, fascia grafts. Im concered that its not possible to get an improvement in my overly narrow bony nasal base and nostrils. Thanks for your time.
I had my tip and nostrils done about two years ago. I feel it looks the same as before. I want a more small refined narrow nose. When I went back to ask my dr who did my procedure he said he couldn't do the tip anymore because it's too thick and he took out as much as he could already. Anything else would cause huge problems he said. Is this something you agree with? Also would getting my tip done again to make it more narrow make my nostrils look wider?
Hi I had rhinoplasty in 2008 but I was&still am very unhappy with the result, the dr didnt do what we discussed- he just filed the bridge a bit to give a more streamlined side profile but my side profile didnt bother me! It looks the same aS pre surgery. I want narrower bridge&pointier tip. Ive had dermal fillers in it but it still doesnt give me the front narrower look I want. I want the bridge narrower and the tip. Is this a difficult procedure? And what about price? Please help.
I've had rhinoplasty/septo done just last year, happy with the results but I would of liked my nose thinner, my surgeon said he couldn't thin it much more than what he had as the bones wouldn't budge Is there a way to bring in bones. I've seen some people with really wide nose bridges & after thinner noses after surgery, please explain why mine wasn't able to be as thin. Surgeon straightened my deviated septum by adding grafts, he said this didn't affect why he couldn't bring in the nasal bones
Hi Doctors, I had bad rhinoplasty. My nose is now to small and nostrils too narrow. I know that there are techniques to argument the length of the nose. But can nostrils became wider again? There is not too much info about that. Thanks.
Im researching revision rhinoplasty to augment an overly resected nose following dorsal hump removal. In addition to dorsal augmentation I need tip projection added. I am looking for a taller, narrow bridge. Which can provide a narrower taller bridge? DCF or solid rib? Which is more reliable and less likely to warp/need further revision? DCF or solid rib?
3 surgeries later, my nasal sidewalls are still prominent. My last surgery was a month ago. It was closed rhinoplasty. I assured the doctor to perform osteotomy and he said he did. However, my nasal sidewalls are still wide. I really want to know, how come three doctors couldn't narrow the sides that appear in the photo. They only appear under harsh lights. I really want your help in telling me why is it so hard for the doctors to narrow them. Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you
