7 months ago I had a primary rhinoplasty. I had previous a dorsal hump, tension tip nose. I did not want a sloped upturned nose, but alas, it was my outcome. I am looking to restore my triangular/pyramid shaped nose from the front, what can be done to do so? I know it has to do with the infratip lobule. I currently have an SEG placed in my tip as well. Looking to derotate too.

At 7 months post op, I injured my nose and after reviewing my CT scan, my doctor says I displaced a bone in my nose though hes vague about the details of what that means. He wants to wait to see how it heals as my appearance hasnt been affected. Im concerned that if he does not do anything to fix it, it may not heal properly, be susceptible to future injury or collapse. Should I be? What is recommended?
I had my revision rhinoplasty 12/23 for an overprojected and downward turned nose. I feel like my nose is not overprojected anymore so Im happy with that but I still feel like it is downward turned and was not rotated upward correctly. Could this just be due to significant swelling in the supratip and columella still? Is there anything that can be done to correct this without going through a whole other surgery? Please note I am only 7 months post op. Pics are from 7mo except for one marked 3m.
I had a primary rhinoplasty back in 2017- I always wanted a curved (ski slope) I was unsuccessful and was disappointed in the result unfortunately as my nose remained dead straight. Fast forward November 2023 (7 months ago) I finally tried again for a revision. The on the table photos seemed to show a big difference but unfortunately they look nothing like my actual results - Im confused it feels like its not going to change- why did this happen again ? 7 months out and lost hope.
I got a rhinoplasty 7 months ago and I believe I may have an internal valve collapse or mid valve collapse. When I lie down on my side with the collapsed side towards the ceiling, it is harder to breathe through the collapsed nostril. Like the weight of the skin collapses even more. My doctor said its not functional, and he plans to put filler in this week. Is this correct? My breathing isnt the best but its not the worst. Just a little bothersome. Not sure if that is swelling or collapse.
Desperate for feedback on scar tissue experience post septorhino My nose was fractured in my early 20s and has never been the same since. I had my latest revision (with rib cartilage) 7 months ago to resolve the exact problem you see in the pictures. My surgeon believed it to be scar tissue (I got second opinions who agreed). Im at a loss as to what is wrong with my healing/recovery and why I develop many bumps
7 months ago, I underwent a 5-hr revision rhinoplasty due to my thick skin. Initially, I experienced migraines, which subsided after 2 months. At 4 mos, I received a steroid injection to reduce swelling. However, at around 5-mos, I began experiencing random congestion, throbbing pain on my nose bridge, & severe migraines. These symptoms persisted even after saline rinses, sometimes causing red blood vessels in my eyes. Can this b swelling, surgeon didn't mention issues nasonex didnt help
I had my rhinoplasty done in Turkey about 7 months ago. From the very first day I noticed unevenness in my nostrils. I was advised by my surgeon that identical nostrils are unrealistic and to be patient. It is now 7 months and my the difference is still persisting. Its not just a bit of assymetry its major. Every-time I bring it up to my surgeon he says itll fix itself with time. Ive also started wearing a nose retainer recently. Is this permanent or is there hope?
I had a rhinoplasty 7.5 months ago. I am developing three hard bumps which are visible when I flex my nose. Additionally, I have a lot of asymmetry pushing my nose to the left. It is much more asymmetrical and has noticeable bumps and irregularities in the bridge. I am concerned that I need a revision surgery and my surgeon does not seem concerned about any of this.
