I had a revision rhino in late 2019. I had a rib graft on one side fixed via another open revision in March 2024 because it was making my nose asymmetrical and C-shaped (by the same doctor). I'm 4 months out from that last procedure and it looks exactly the same as before. That side of my nose is severely swollen looking all the time and looks extremely c-shaped still. Is there any chance this will go away down the line?
I had a septorhinoplasty 4.5 months ago ( was told by the surgeon she could keep my side profile the same. I just wanted subtle tip refinement from the front. My surgeon ended up performing osteotomies, shortening my nose and leaving me with a wider bridge (granted I know the knows swells for a year+), a slope, and too much nostril show. Ive been so upset since my procedure and really want my side profile back and thin bridge/less nostril show again. Would this be done with rib cartilage?
Had nose reconstruction 4 months ago because I had saddle nose and I dont like how it looks is it too soon to know if I need a revision like the sides around my nose is that just swelling?
Hi everyone, Im 4 months post primary rhinoplasty but I went from a larger nose to my bridge being narrowed almost all the way down or oblique in shape - which was not wanted or discussed. Also is it just me or does it seem to have a curve now? Is this fixable? Please help, I have a longer face so I dont feel this nose shape balances my features.
I had a closed Rhinoplasty nearly 4 months ago. I have noticed that the swelling has gone from the bridge, but the tip doesnt seem to have gone down as much. I feel that the tip of my nose from the side now looks too big for the top part which has gone down, making my nose look unbalanced. By four months, I feel most of the swelling should have gone in the bridge and tip. Should i think about a revision?
I had a rhinoplasty in December 2016. as my nose healed it got very droopy and downturned. My PS agreed the results werent ideal +agreed to perform a tiplasty to correct it. He took cartilage from behind my ear + only worked on tip. Its been 4 months since the tip procedure. I like my projection now BUT the graft is so visible. The tip of my nose is now a strange circle. I dont want to have another surgery. Im getting married in12 months. Would fuller disguise the strange graft?
4 months ago Ive had surgery. She builded up where the nose begins (between the eyes), removed a bump and made the tip smaller. Now my nose looks too long and the Build up Part (between the eyes) looks a bit weird to me, a Little bump is still there. Would in a Revision (where I have to take the bump away) be a Good Idea to make a supra tip break? I want my nose to be more feminine and not so strong like now. I hope you can give an answer! Thank you!
Hello doctors, I had a revision rhinoplasty done 4.5 months ago.. and my nostrils are so uneven. They were not like this when I got my cast off or before rhinoplasty. Why did this happen? Is it swelling? Will it go away? Also, at almost 5 months post opp of a revision rhinoplasty how much swelling do I likely have, in general, and is what I see now close to my final result or will it change a lot? I loved my nose sooooo much when I got my cast off but it has changed.
I had a closed rhinoplasty 4 months ago and i have notice since the cast went off that may upper lateral cartilages have collapsed and i looks indented from the front. How difficult is this to correct and what kind of graft are needed ?
I had closed rhino 4 months ago, and though I am generally happy with results, I now I have an uneven tip (from what seems like uneven cartilage trimming). I can feel that one side of the tip is longer than the other and it is visible as a bump on one side of the tip. I am sure my surgeon will fix it closer to the one year mark, but is this something that would ever correct itself with time? My surgeon said the longer side may dissolve with time, but not sure what that means.
