Hello! I have been using .5% tretinoid since October of 22and have had 3 co2 cool peel treatments between December and March. Im in my mid 30s and still have fine lines around my eyes and deep wrinkles in my forehead, oily skin, and you can see every pore on my face. Acne is gone but nothing else has changed. I cleanse with cerve, moisturize, use niacidmide serum, and eye cream with Hyaluronic. I take otc biotin and collagen pills. How do I get smooth clear pretty skin? I have combo skin.
looking topical only, please suggest me top 2 or top 3 out of : Prevag/idebenone, Retinoids (Tretinoin 0.1% already using from 10 years but not got any major benefit), Tazarotene, isotretinoin, Vitamin C, E, B3, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramides, Matrixyl/Matrixyl 3000, Resveratrol, Lycopene, Copper Peptides, Polypeptides, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic acid, COQ10 etc... please also suggest me their conjugates/derivatives if best is not in list then suggest me that one also
I feel like my skin is too delicate and sensitive and needs strength, maybe collagen. I've been told maybe Obagi .05 Retin-A & Obagi Blender FX with some Vitamin C and Peptides. Also I've been told microneedling could help. But then a natural skin care therapist told me Retin-A will thin & damage my skin. What should I do? I really need a protocol to build up the strength of my skin and help with fine lines I'm & thinness I'm seeing, esp around eyes but I'd like more robust skin in general.
I'll be 45 and am looking for anti-aging with Retin-A, especially around the eye area. How long does it take for thickening to happen? I'd like to increase my collagen levels. How long does it take for that? And are there any strengths better than others? I've got a few tubes of the .05 % right now.
My skin is starting to sag, but I don't really jowls. It's more like my face has this downward droop and the fat is falling. I think the majority of this is collagen and elastin loss. Would retin-a be able to reverse this? I really don't want fillers or any treatments as I'm very young.
I have read about the benefits of Tretinoin including increased collagen, firmness, and increased elasticity to the skin. My question is, would Retin-A applied to the breasts have the same effect? Would it be safe to do so? ( I use it on my face nightly and love the results) My breasts are drooping slightly and I want to wait as long as possible for a lift. Even if it won't correct sag will it prevent future sagging?
