Would Retin A help with skin sagging?

Question

My skin is starting to sag, but I don't really jowls. It's more like my face has this downward droop and the fat is falling. I think the majority of this is collagen and elastin loss. Would retin-a be able to reverse this? I really don't want fillers or any treatments as I'm very young.

Thank you for your question. Retin-A will help build some collagen, but not reverse genetic trends or weight loss and facial fat loss.  Severe sagging needs fillers and or surgery and laser resurfacing if appropriate. I hope this helps!

collagen to reduce fine lines while speeding up the cell turnover to improve
discoloration and wrinkles from sun damage. Retin-A is not used to tighten/lift the skin or to add volume. To be sure what is the best option for you, see two
or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have
treatment.
