I had my 3rd eyelid surgery in 4 years 3 weeks ago. The ASOPRS surgeon said he could lift the eye more and give me a crease with the external levator surgery. 3 weeks after surgery I regret having it as my eyelid height is lower than ever before and my crease also looks too low making it all worse. He said he could fix it (again) as he needs to leave it in a way over corrected position but now Im afraid to touch it again and make it even worse.
I had ptosis and upper blepharoplasty 3 weeks ago and I am concerned I am still swollen, my lids feel tight and still numb almost like some pins pricking feelings. When I open my lids all the way it hurts. My eyes feel sore and tired. I am also concerned about the scaring. Is this normal?
I had ptosis surgery a little over 3 wks ago. A few hrs after surgery I fell and bumped by eye pretty hard (requiring stitching under my right eye as a result). Over the next weeks my right eye start to pull up higher than the left eye. My eyelid peaked at the position where a bruise developed from the fall. During the follow ups my physician said it's due to the bruising and then he said it's due to adhesion which should loosen over the next 3 mos. My right eye is rounding out and not as sharp.
I had bilateral ptosis surgery 21 days ago and I'm not very happy with the cosmetic result, though I can see 100% better. I did not wake up during surgery so they worked around that; the sedative may have been too strong. Asking about: Right eye: Overcorrection/peaking; multiple crease lines and prominent scar. Left eye: Height too low, feeling heavy and dry, seeing skin on periphery shapes and contours of both eyes I'd like to know if revision/corrective surgery is going to be required.
3 weeks after ptosis repair my eyes are extremely droopy just like before as if nothing changed. I had blepharoplasty on both eyes with ptosis repair done on the left eye 3 weeks ago. My left eye seems be in the same place with the same level of droopiness like before surgery. Seeing that the left eye is still hanging so low, I can't help to think the result won't be much different in another month or two. Also, the crease on my right eye is a lot shorter than the right. It seems like he could have made the incision longer toward the corner of my right eye. Do I need revision?
I had ptosis surgery on my upper eyelid about three weeks ago. Most of the swelling has gone down and my eye looks like it did before.I don't see any change at all, the eyelid is still droopy and there is now a crease on my upper eyelid that wasn't there before which seems to be making my eye look droopy. Instead of having a rounded surface on my eyelid there is excess skin almost. When you feel both eyelids, the right one has much more skin to it. Is this just swelling? Or did the surgery fail?
