Can trauma to the eye right after surgery cause eyelid to peak or is it a case of ptosis overcorrection? (photo)

I had ptosis surgery a little over 3 wks ago. A few hrs after surgery I fell and bumped by eye pretty hard (requiring stitching under my right eye as a result). Over the next weeks my right eye start to pull up higher than the left eye. My eyelid peaked at the position where a bruise developed from the fall. During the follow ups my physician said it's due to the bruising and then he said it's due to adhesion which should loosen over the next 3 mos. My right eye is rounding out and not as sharp.
