Hello, I have the option of getting either Picoway resolve/zoom treatments or Picosure focus treatments for facial rejuvenation. I am a mid twenties ethnic individual that has a lot of brown spots (derm said a lot of red spots turned brown) and some leftover pih from when I had acne a year ago. I am looking to get my overall evening of skin tone, help get rid of some discoloration and maybe reduce pore size too. I wanted to know which treatment would be preferable in my scenario.
Hi doctors, 2.5 weeks post picoway and pigment is worse. DX is ABNOM/Nevus Horis/Horis Macules. Via biopsy, my dx is ABNOM/Nevus Horis/Horis Macules. I have had a handful of q-switch 1064 treatments and 2 pixels. Recently, I had a picoway session, it's 2.5 weeks post - my face is worse. Pigment is darker, with pink areas. On my nose bridge, I had very light pigment, barely noticeable, now there are dark brown spots. Appreciate any advice, would like to know if this is a common process with the Picoway. Should I do more sessions, how do I get rid of the pigment? Please help. TIA.
I read it is the most effective treatment to safely break up pigment. My concern is, what would I use between treatments against rebound pigmentation? It cant be HQ since thats what caused the issue in the first place. Or does this condition not need all the topicals in between like melasma does? (Spf 50 used constantly of course) History: 8 mts continuous use of HQ and when I called the doc to report the discoloration I was starting to see, he advised me to just keep going... Please, advise.
Hello, I have post inflammatory pigmentation around 9 months. I don't see any changes, even after 1 pico way 1064 treatment. The color is very bright brown, I couldn't go anywhere without sun glasses, it is looking horrible. Could you give me some advices about treatment hemosiderin staining??
A new clinic has opened in my area that is now offering Picoway Resolve sessions for pigmentation. Is this a good option for extensive melasma on face (particularly above to top lip)? I can't find much info at all about this type of treatment. I'm booked in for halo in a few weeks but thinking I should swap to picoway Resolve?? Any insight? Any info is limited about how it works with melasma!
I had Picoway Resolve Facial Rejuvination done 5 weeks ago. Two tyoes of wavelength were used. The 1064nm to target the darker pigmentation in my sun spots and. The 532nm was used on my entire face was told this would target the more faint sun spots and rejuvinate my skin. The darker ones did scab and fell off but the faint ones seem to be surfacing and becoming darker. Is this normal? Will these just turn darker and not fall off or disappear?
I usually have to hide away for at least 3 days and have to put on makeup for a week till I'm comfortable going out bare faced. This last treatment was done by a different/new nurse and she had a few calibration issues with the machine while working on me. I walked out from the appointment looking only flushed when in the past I felt like I had blistering. I am concerned that the last treatment wasn't done correctly and the $800 spent on that single session was a waste.
I developed folliculitis from shaving some years ago. I took antibiotics to resolve it however I now have scarring in the form of light brown pigmentation which really bothers me. The pigmented scars are slightly raised and can be felt when I run my hand over the area. I have tried various treatments with no success - chemical peel (lactic/glycolic acid I assume), Alexandrite lazer, fraxel lazer and lightening cream. I would really love to know what is worth trying to eleminate this scaring
