I recently had 4 treatments of Picosure done and the laser technician accidentally went over my lips when she passed over the area above my lips. The area above my lips are super dry, flaky and now I'm seeing the pigmentation has faded causing my lips to look uneven. The clinic I went to tells me this is impossible with the 750 PicoSure. Is this true? What else could cause this?
Hello. Ive struggled for years with hyperpigmentation from post acne scarring. I tried Pico laser for the first time back in late December of last year. I saw minor improvement but overall no side effects. The second session the test raised the wavelength and that was February 10th. A little over a month since then & almost 3 months since the first session, I have dark lines from where the laser was performed & my back looks worse. The clinic claims it will fadewhat should I do?
I have just gone through my first Pico Focus laser treatment for a small area of depressed acne scar with pigmentation in the first photo. The 3 scars(2 bigger on top and 1 at the bottom) are relatively formed early, only got it within the last 3 months by regret because I was picking at that spot due to acne. Could I seek a second opinion if the Pico Focus laser was a good choice for me to make these scars disappear with time? How long does it usually take for new collagen to fill in the scars?
Here's a photo of what they look like today. I need to put heavy concealer over them, draw them back on, so frustrating. Will Picosure remove the red pigment if wave length #532 is used? I don't want to lose any of the hair in my brows, it has grown back somewhat. They are not even close to the same size or shape. They have faded but what is left is red pigment.
I recently got a picolaser done on my face for skin pigmentation . The whole picolaser procedure on my face was over in less than 5 minutes . I was wondering if the duration is so short As i had heard that each procedure is on an average 8-10 min. Also i didnot see and noticeable change in skin texture or color after the procedure though just got it past a day now.
I have been having Picosure treatment on my face for 10 months now and my melisma doesnt improve. So my dermatologist told me to use tri-luma. If I decide to keep getting Picosure. How many days apart do I need to stop using tri-Luma before I get Picosure treatment. Can I use tri-luma while I get the Picosure treatment. Would it help to get ride of my melisma faster or would it make worse. Please advise. By the way I am an Asian (skin tone).
Hello there. I have done pigmentation laser using Pico for my 2 dark spots around my eyes last week..exactly 7 days ago. The scabs has peeled off but now I realise that the skin is still dark. I have consulted my dermatologist yesterday and he said I need to wait further for full results. How long I need to wait as I'm kinda worried. I am an Asian with mix parentage (Chinese-Indian) so my doctor said Pico is the best for my skin n assured one treatment is enough for me. Shall I be worried?
I have type 4 skin and I am getting Picosure focus laser treatments 6 weeks apart for a pigment on my face. About 2 days later pigment flakes off but the pigment comes again to the surface of skin in few days. My doctor says that pigment will stop coming back after few more treatments. Is it true that picosure laser is bringing the deep seated pigment to surface on every treatment and gradually all pigment will be gone?
