I have heard of IPL, BBL, pico lasers, co2, and nd-yag lasers to remove hyperpigmentation (brown spots, not red spots). I have redness from grade 1 rosacea as well but don't want to target that (I understand that redness would likely still be somewhat affected). What is the best laser that is mostly only for brown spots?
I am a mid 20s male who has acquired brown spots and freckles on the drivers side of my face. The spots are in my beard area, however I have not really developed anything more than a few hairs in this area yet (late bloomer). I have type 1 skin. I have had offices mention both IPL and Picosure Focus. Since I haven't grown a beard yet - would IPL impact the future growth of my beard? Also, with Picosure - how effective is it at treating brown spots? What is the downtime? Does it risk hair loss?
Hello, Im Asian female age 46 with freckles, PIH, melasma , and sun spots. Ive tried Halo and BBL but its not cutting it all that great to lighten melasma. Ive been using kligmans creM since age 17 on my birthmark and sun spots , but its not working anymore on my melasma on cheeks which fit worse. Now, how is halo + BBL comparable to Pico lasers or KPT-532 laser for treatment of melasma in Asian skin? Which will worsen my skin or cause PIH !
Hi, I did one treatment on Picosure laser and turned out very red and looks burnt. I am so worry it will not be better to normal. I have seen many cases and never looked this burnt. I think they did it too strong. What can I do? Will all the red area back to normal? Will the freckles get darker ?
8 days ago i had my first Picosure treatment on face nose and cheeks for freckle removal. The area was red for a couple of hours and then went back to normal. I've not really noticed any difference to the freckles. I was told that it might take 3-5 treatments but i thought i would have at least seen some improvement by now. Is this normal? Why do i have to wait 3 weeks between treatments?
