I'm 51, I don't get sun, don't smoke or drink. I've had 2 facelifts, recently had meso botox. I've done several rounds of Accutane over the years and microneedling once. My skin is oily and red and I can't wear foundation. I don't have rosacea, just ugly skin. What the least painful way to help this? My skin is super sensitive.
I am looking to treat mild acne scarring (boxscar and shallow icepick) and am considering TCA 15% peels or an Obagi Blue Peel. What % TCA is used in the Obagi Blue peel? And can it be used to treat mild/superficial acne scarring? Or would a standard TCA chemical peel be better?
I had an obagi blue radiance peel yesterday, and today my face is brighter except for all my pigmentation areas which have severely darkened. I also have new patches of pigmentation. Help, what do I do? I have African American skin and I'm fairly light, but the pigment is extremely dark. Should I wait a few days and go back to using OBAGI nu derm (with tretenoin), or start using it immediately? I don't understand how it happened, as I had been prepping my face with the system 10 weeks beforehand.
I had this done 4 days ago, was advided no down time but would experience redness and peeling. White fluid filled blisters formed around my mouth area on day 2 and 3. Some have leaked, some have dried out. Post treatment I was advised to cleanse and moisturise my skin with Cetaphil and use Heliocare spf of 50 and was tinted so redness wasnt noticable. I done this until day 3. I visited the clinic and was advised stop using and only clean face with saline liquid and apply aloe vera.
I was on nu derm 3 week and dermatologist recommended blue radiance peel . She said it mild one but in evening I developed pigmentation and superficial burn. I called her today she advised using hydroquinon 4% twice a day , sun screen and hydrate. Also advice I use retinal at night. Can somebody advice will it get better and also should I see a different person for treatment ? Really worried an upset
