How bad will I peel with Obagi Blue Peel?

Obagi Blue skin peel is a leading deep rejuvenation treatment which helps eliminate blemishes, scars, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and sun damage whilst increasing overall texture and tightness. These dead cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin's own clarity and tightness to resurface.

Depending on the concentration of TCA used and how many layers are applied a good blue peel will generally have you home for 8 days. Usually the peeling starts after day 3 and continues to day 8 +/-. I would avoid sun exposure/ excessive heat during this time. There is also a home routine where you will be washing/ moisturizing the face to encourage the healing process.

With the Obagi Blue Peel, every patient will peel at a different rate.  Some patients begin peeling very quickly, while others may take several days.  The average peeling time is about 7 days.   Much of the recovery process depends on how "prepped"  your skin is.  Your provider should be able to advise you on this.
