My moles seem to have skin over top of them already I've been washing my face 3 to 4 times a day and constantly putting neosporin and Vaseline on them. Can I wear liquid make up or concealer on them yet?
Hi I have had 3 moles removed from my face 12 days ago via shave method and now I have noticed these moles have turned yellow and are oozing with pus? Is this normal? Do I need to remove the pus? My surgeon didn't give me much advice on after care apart from using vasseline which I have been doing constantly. I wasn't told on what the healing process would look like and about what's normal and what isn't so I have no clue if they're healing or getting worse. Also when can I wear makeup to cover?
Just had 3 moles removed on my face, come home and noticed a massive indent where one of them was on my lip! Will this fade? As at the moment it looks worse than the mole did! Also when is it safe to wear makeup as I'm back in work soon. Thanks
I have a mole around 7mm right on my cheek. My dermatologist told me that I need to remove It through surgery, and I will get stitches on my face. The problem is that my wedding is 5 weeks after the surgery. would I be able to cover the scar with makeup? I would like to have it remove it before the wedding but I am afraid that the aspect of the scar at that point would be worst. any pictures of face mole removals before and after a month of the surgery??
I had a mole removed by a dermatologist for cosmetic reasons via shaving. Bottom left picture shows the area immediately after removal; I was instructed to prevent scabbing of the area by all measures. After about 3 weeks since my mole's been removed it seems the wound hasn't made much progress (right photo). I'm tired of it looking like there's a cigarette burn on my face, yet feel like it's still a gaping wound and unsafe for makeup! When will it be safe to wear concealer and makeup over the area?thx!
I recently had a mole removed from my chin, there was an excision made and I had my stitches removed 8 days ago. Ill be going back to work soon and I don't want my coworkers to see a redish area with a visible line where the skin was stitched up. I want to cover it up without using a bandage. But I want it all to be safe for that skin area. So when can I apply makeup. Your advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
I had moles removed 4 months ago by a laser surgery, then I had scabs which fell off after 2 weeks following the surgery. Now I have scars, red and visible. In the sun I am using a maximum protection but I would also like to cover them with a light concealer ( e.g. Maybelline concealer cover stick, or a heavier coverage e.g.Makeup forever full cover concealer ). My question is whether I can start using make up now, 4 months post surgery.
My mole was shave excised and cauterized about one week ago and has yet to scab up. I've been cleaning the site with Bactine disinfecting spray, applying Fougera brand antibiotic ointment 2-3 times daily, and covering with a bandage ever since the removal. I keep the area pretty well moisturized which might be why I haven't developed any scarring.
