Mole removal yellow pus oozing, is it normal? (Photos)

Question

Hi I have had 3 moles removed from my face 12 days ago via shave method and now I have noticed these moles have turned yellow and are oozing with pus? Is this normal? Do I need to remove the pus? My surgeon didn't give me much advice on after care apart from using vasseline which I have been doing constantly. I wasn't told on what the healing process would look like and about what's normal and what isn't so I have no clue if they're healing or getting worse. Also when can I wear makeup to cover?

Anytime that a wound has pus most likely an infection has been created. The proper after care for having mole removal since you had them shaved off is to use bacitracin it is an over the counter antibiotic ointment and to keep each area  covered with a band aid for at least a week. Putting makeup on top of this wound can just create more bacteria and increase the infection so it is better to just keep the area clean. It is recommended for you to see your nearest dermatologist.
