Just had 3 moles removed on my face, come home and noticed a massive indent where one of them was on my lip! Will this fade? As at the moment it looks worse than the mole did! Also when is it safe to wear makeup as I'm back in work soon. Thanks

The black spot under the skin may be many different thing such as a benign, nevus, black head, blue nevus or possible a sun damage that may need a biopsy. I recommend you seeing a dermatologist that can check the skin lesion with a special light/microscope called a Dermlite to evaluate the spot.
Thank you for your question.
How long ago is recent?
Following scratching the mole I would expect it to look like you have shown. This will take time to settle down. Imagine if you cut yourself anywhere normally - the wound will take about a week to scab up and then as the scab comes off...
Some moles get inflamed and that what yours seems to have going on. Infection is less likely but you should show your doctor.
Steroid ointment works great for it.
