Hi all, I got some of my inside moles on my face few months via PLASMA PEN FIBROBLAST heating method but for some reasons I have these black spots now almost similar size like moles, in fact slightly more darker than moles. My skin type is brown/south asian btw. Appreciate any suggestions to help with this process getting rid of these black spots.
Had a mole removed 4 months ago and have just seen dark black/brown/red spots on it. Initially it was just flat and red, not sure how long its been like this as its on my back so cant see it, could be weeks. Whats happening? Is it normal? Still feels flat and its not painful.
I got 7 moles removed on my face about a month ago via laser, they all healed normally but the one on my forehead has slight swelling and 2 faint dark spots the re appeared after about 2 weeks.kinda painful to press on. Its not an open wound or anything. Whats wrong? Included is 2 photos, one of the forehead with red area, and small dark spots. One picture of my cheek area where another four moles were removed looking normal. And the last photo of what the original forehead mole looked like.
Based on your experience throughout the years does a suddenly raised mole always indicate melanoma? Has that been the case with all your patients? I have a tiny slightly larger than a pin prick, dark brown mole on my upper thigh. Its become raised in the last 1-2 months. No other changes from what I can tell. It doesn't hurt or itch. I just want to know if there have been cases in which a suddenly raised mole has not been melanoma. Thank you.
Please, help. I was watching a video on melanoma and I realized that I have something similar to what is described. It doesn't have weird edges or something. I don't know since when I've had this either. Please say something or I'll die thinking until the dermatologist appointment date which is in a week :( please. I also have strong depression which is made much worse by this problem. I'm talking about the dark spot in the attached photos.
I had two moles removed next to my belly button a week ago. They were removed using a shave extraction because he said they looked atypical. He did mention during it that one was deeper than he expected. He had to cauterize it. On that one, it has a dark spot that looks like the mole is still completely there. Is that from the cauterizing or is there still mole left? I haven't gotten my results back. These moles showed up about 5 years ago and started changing 1 year ago while I was pregnant.
How soon after a mole is shaved from face, can I start using prescription products all over my face (such as hydroquinone)? I got three moles shaved and already one mole developed a dark spot. Can I immediately start using hydroquinone to lighten the dark spot? If not, how many days should I wait before apply hydroquinone to my face?
Is it normal to have a dark spot left after having a mole shaved for biopsy? My mole was bigger than a 5mm and I had it ever since I was a little kid. I'm waiting for the biopsy results but can't help to wonder. Also does this mean that the mole will grow back again?
