Is it normal to have a dark spot left after having a mole shaved for biopsy? (Photo)

Is it normal to have a dark spot left after having a mole shaved for biopsy? My mole was bigger than a 5mm and I had it ever since I was a little kid. I'm waiting for the biopsy results but can't help to wonder. Also does this mean that the mole will grow back again?
