I want to get microneedling done on my face for texture and hyperpigmentation. I was told that microneedling under eyes can help with hyperpigmentation. However, I have very obvious periorbital veins so now I hesitate going to see a professional as I don''t want me vein to pop. Does it matter if its the roller microneedle? Does it need to be the stamp-like microneedling? Do I need to request they avoid the vein? I dont want to go blind.
Nose never stop crumbling, especially on my nose. Have seen over 5 dermatologist but not getting anywhere. Was told I have seborrheic and rosacea but my face doesn't respond to treatments; doxy, finacea, nizoral, plant stem cell moisturisers. etc. All oil free moisturisers seem to exasperate it. My nose pores are now scarred/joined. Is there any home of improving my nose texture, I understand not while I am flaring. What do you think could be going on? The texture is getting really bad. I use a gentle soap free cleanser.
I have very poor skin appearance and texture on my legs - mainly the backs of the thighs and calves. As can be seen in the photos there is: excess scarring from previous ingrown hairs from shaving poor skin laxity thread veins keratosis pilliaris I am confused as to whether a combination of micro needling / exilis / fraxel laser / PRP would be most suitable, and whether these would be suitable for large areas such as the legs? Any further advice would be appreciated.
My first ever of 3 microneedling sessions for acne scaring, texture and wrinkles. The office I am going to uses the Eclipse pen and I was wondering what serum would be best to use during the time between the treatments?
I have cheek fillers, 1ml each cheek filled with intraline 2. But I went to the doctor and he told me that to fix my skin texture and acne scarring, microneedling would be very helpful. Can I do microneedling on top of my cheek fillers? Does microneedling break down the filler and make it last for less time? Or is it completely fine? Is there a possibility of the area to become infected? Thanks for the help in advance :)
I just had my second microneedling treatment, and I have a concern. My skin texture looked AMAZING the day after my first treatment, but my indented scarring basically returned after a week. This was kind of a bummer as I was super excited by my immediate results. I would say that the appearance of my scars improved by about 60-70% only to revert back to only a little bit better than it was pre-treatment. Is this because of swelling?
I had a treatment with an off-brand skinpen type device by my dermatologist. Very trustworthy office. 1-2 weeks after my treatment(and for weeks beyond that)I broke out with awful cyst-like acne- very deep & far beyond normal for my skin. I have another treatment scheduled 1 week but my face is just recovering from round 1 pimples. Are breakouts like that normal from microneedling treatments with SkinPen? (Was seeking treatment for skin tone, texture, lines, etc.) Should I go back for round 2?
I'm a medium brown African American woman in my early 40's looking to erase fine lines, lighten acne scarring, and improve texture and tone. I was scheduled to get the eMatrix treatment but was advised against it due to my job (package delivery) exposing me to the sun all day. She suggested microneedling with PRP so I set an appointment, now I'm reading that DermaFrac maybe better, PLEASE HELP, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S SAFE OR BETTER FOR MY SKIN!!
Two months ago I over-exfoliated my skin with BHA2% and exfoliation pad. Woke up with waxy face and open and swollen pores all over my face. Skin doesn't feel sensitive anymore, but I'm left with weird porous texture and skin almost feels like it's still missing a layer of skin. I would like to know if there are any treatment options for this (other than laser). I don't expect my skin to go back to way it was, but some improvement would be nice.
