I had 6 mircroneedling sessions in the last one she did it too deep and did it aggressively. After that my skin is so wrinkly. I look 10 years older and have hyperpigmentation.. its been over 8 months its getting worse Please let me know how can I fix this. Is it fixable or not? Im thinking to go on tretinoin. Right now Im on accutane as my acne was appearing again so my dr put me on accutane again. Can I use tretinoin while Im taking accutane 20 mg?
I usually do vi peel and they are great! But I have large pores, acne scars, and orange peel skin (lots of fine tiny bumps) and I think microneedling with PRP would help, but I also have a lot of sun damage and a bit of a tan and even a bruise or two or hyperpigmentation from a too strong peel that hasn't faded in over three years, so are there things we can do to improve how microneedling lightens any discolorations ? thanks for any replies
I had two regular MN sessions six months ago (2mm and 1.5mm) and although I have gained weight since then, my face is significantly thinner with an odd orange peel like texture since then. Skin is definitely far worse and even NP agrees. Is it possible she went too deep? This depth was used everywhere except forehead and around eyes. Ive read fat cells can atrophy to some degree when theres an injury even without heat.
I received 4 total treatments and the fourth I am not sure where things went wrong. Did she go to aggressive to deep? My skin was clear soon and was picture perfect without makeup. This has destroyed my confidence and the place wont see me or help me .. what do I do?
I really want to try microneedling for my scars, but I have read some reviews here saying it resulted in permanent orange peel skin and major loss of collagen. Also, a highly respected esthetician believes that it doesn't cause the body to create collagen, but instead causes scar tissue to be formed that will result in bad skin in the long run. Any thoughts on her logic, what may have caused the mentioned side effects, and long-term affects?
I am 43 with no wrinkles but I noticed lately that was getting orange texture skin after doing several different types of laser treatments over the years. I just had a Vi-peel and my skin is worse!! I've heard that nothing can help, I'm guessing I have to let my skin calm down but will Microneedling and/or PRP help?? Could it make it worse? I am sooo sad!! I will include photos in next post>
I have been curious about using micro needling for regular skin maintenance, but wonder if it may be overkill because I do not possess an orange peel complexion. I am 56. I am experiencing some skin laxity (slight jowling), fine lines, and some pores becoming more obvious in size, but I do not have a bad complexion. I use Retin-A at night with a moisturizer with AHA in it. During the day, I use a moisturizer with a sunscreen. Thank you for your attention to my question! :-)
