Will Micro-Needling and or PRP help with orange texture skin?

Question

I am 43 with no wrinkles but I noticed lately that was getting orange texture skin after doing several different types of laser treatments over the years. I just had a Vi-peel and my skin is worse!! I've heard that nothing can help, I'm guessing I have to let my skin calm down but will Microneedling and/or PRP help?? Could it make it worse? I am sooo sad!! I will include photos in next post>

Hello Darla212,
I am sorry to hear that you have not seen improvement from the treatments you have had. If texture is your concern microneedling w/PRP is an excellent treatment for "orange peel texture". You may need a series of treatments (3-6), spaced 4 weeks apart to achieve best results. I would recommend waiting 3 weeks after your VI Peel to do your microneedling. A peel before microneedling w/prp actually is the best way to go to achieve optimal results.

It is difficult to know what is best for you skin without a formal in-person evaluation of the skin appearance, quality, and characteristics. Generally speaking, I find that microneedling in combination with superificial chemical peels is a great way to reset and smooth the texture of the skin without too much downtime. Some skin types are very sensitive to laser treatments. It will be important to consult with your physician and let him or her know of these changes. PRP will help to improve skin texture and tone.
