I had microneedling done twice, each one month apart. Now my skin has new wrinkles, and I feel my skin has just lost it's natural oil. I am not sure if whether microneedling shrinks the pores causing less sebum to be present on the epidermis? It's very dry and rough like sand paper - will this come back to normal in some months? Also the microneedling was done in a way where the needles where kept on my skin in one spot and then dragged as a line (rather than just touching the skin and then taking it and then repeating the whole process for the face). Any advice pls?
Nose never stop crumbling, especially on my nose. Have seen over 5 dermatologist but not getting anywhere. Was told I have seborrheic and rosacea but my face doesn't respond to treatments; doxy, finacea, nizoral, plant stem cell moisturisers. etc. All oil free moisturisers seem to exasperate it. My nose pores are now scarred/joined. Is there any home of improving my nose texture, I understand not while I am flaring. What do you think could be going on? The texture is getting really bad. I use a gentle soap free cleanser.
I had a microneedling procedure done 2 days ago for the first time. My skin is still very red and rough in texture. It feels like I have a rash. I'm scared I had an allergic reaction to something she put on my face, like the numbing creams or something else. Is it normal to have red and rough skin about 40hours after procedure? if I had an allergic reaction, what should I do? Ive been putting coconut oil on my face to try to sooth it. Any advice would be appreciated!
Done for acne scars. Collagen P.I.N used. 0.5 used on forehead, 1.5 on cheeks, side of face 1.0. Dermatologist recommended it. Licensed esthetician did it (12yr exp.) @ the office. Post tx plan: induction therapy products (makers of the p.i.n) including serum q1h day of tx, then days following use cleanser bid, apply phaz serum, apply dewet moisturizer & intensive care cream for bruising. Sunscreen primer prn. What else can I do to speed up heeling? This looks terrible & I'm so upset.
I had Microneedling done at a clinic. I have extremely oily skin, but it's a mature skin with some laxity, large pores, small age spots & a lot of dead skin under the chin, so my goal was better texture. I bronzed & peeled for a few days. After, didn't see much improvement. It's now been 3 months and my skin has lost some of its oiliness. On the other hand, the dead skin under the chin came back full force. I can't find anything on MN drying out the skin long term.
I am talking about the wrinkles that aren't treated with Botox. I am 38 and not really having a problem with lax skin but my skin is very dry, thin, and wrinkled under the eyes and on the cheek area. I currently use Regenica serum that has growth factors for promoting collagen renewal but I want something to speed it up a little.
