Would Viora Reaction or micro needling be better for treating wrinkles under the eye area? (photos)

Both Viora Reaction using radiofrequency(RF) and micro needling using mild mechanical trauma will help with reduction of wrinkles. These devices and others will increase collagen synthesis in your skin. All utilize controlled mild injury directed at certain depths of the skin to stimulate the fibroblast to produce new collagen. I can name numerous other lasers and RF devices that will do the same thing. In my experience, devices that produce little down time will require repeat treatments to be effective. These include Thermage, Fraxel, Sciton's 2940 nm Erbium laser, to name a few.

I use a combination of fractional lasers (Clear + brilliant / Fraxel) or radiofrequency (sublative / viva / skinfinity) as well as microneedling at the same time to get tightening.  I suggest you go to a laser and skin care expert, a cosmetic dermatologist with a significant amount of training and experience.  Botox often isn't that helpful and can make the surrounding area appear to be much more prominent.  Best, Dr. Emer.

We would recommend that you consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to learn what these options are. Using Botox in this area, by very skilled injectors, can help some. Using any of the radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening devices can also help, like the Viora Reaction. We also recommend that Venus Legacy, the EndyMed 3Deep, the Alma Accent, the BTL Exilis, and the Ellman Pelleve in this area – all will help tighten the skin here – and know that, as with toxin injections, that maintenance will also be needed for this. As well, fractional lasers, especially the non-ablative fractional lasers work well here, as well as the RF sublative devices and the RF microneedles.Find the right provider and these concerns can be dealt with.
