I have recently been badly scarred by Pixel8 RF Microneedling. I have done 2 CO2s with some change but not much. Parts almost look like acne scarring and my chin is mangled a Dr recommended Ozone injections. Any knowledge or experience with these would be so extremely helpful. Thank you in advance
I had chin implant surgery in April of 2022, so almost 2.5 years ago. As a result of the surgery, I have lost about 80% of the feeling in my lower lip and chin. I have seen a neurologist and a physical therapist, who agreed that the damage is permanent and that there is nothing I can do. My PCP suggested microneedling with stem cells. I have already tried red light therapy for 16 sessions, with no improvement. Is there anything else that I can try? Are there any reports of success with the microneedling? I am in a constant state of discomfort as, besides the numbness, I also feel odd sensations of coldness due to the nerve damage. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Beside injecting Botox or Dysport every 3-4 months to immobilize the chin (which is not effective or me) is there a way to release some of the skin under my chin to flatten some of the dimples that appear when I move my chin? Example: Rotating a needle in the area under the skin where the skin makes a dimple, to disconnect the skin from the muscle permanently? ...or........?
I have pitted type marks in two lines down each side of my chin, these just developed overnight over a year ago. I fill like nothing will fix them. I have seen people look at me oddly due to them. They Are very obvious and I really want to know why I went from a smooth mouth/chin area to now what looks like a strange looking chin. I have gotten fillers (half ml in both cheeks and in mid cheek area to lift the skin) and 6 units of Botox in chin for dimpling plus going for my 3rd Micro.
I have enlarged pores on my cheeks and minor acne scarring on my temple/chin area. If I were to space the microneedling sessions further apart (5 months) rather than 6 weeks apart, is it likely that I will need more sessions? Or does the spacing between sessions not matter as long as I continue with the treatments?
This is my second time microneedling, I had a few small bumps on my face prior to this season but they werent oozing or inflamed. The next day I started getting a ton of bumps around the sides of my nose and woke up with white heads. Will they heal? Is this normal? When can I go in for a facial?
This is in San Francisco by a double board-certified plastic surgeon. I only want the chin area done. Why am I being charged $800 for a small area? Aren't people charged the same for the entire face?
