I am in the process of researching for a BBL and liposuction of my stomach area. I have heard quite a few times from patients who share their BBL experience that they had pain that they described as a burning sensation, and like being on fire. That sounds almost unbearable, and wanted to find out more about it.
I wear my compression garment daily and had lipo on my thighs and knees. How would I be able to tell if I had an infection? What would cause an infection? Sometimes it hurt to walk, a tad bit of burning at times and I am 1 week post op. So now my skin looks like it went from black bruising to red. Ive called my surgeon so I am going in to have him take a look. I had general anesthesia as well.
I am seven days post-op from abdominal and flank liposuction. The pain has been minimal (comparable to an intense workout recovery), with the exception of sneezing. I feel an intense burning/ripping sensation when sneezing, beside or below navel. I'd say a 7/8 on a scale of 1-10. Hugging a pillow offers minimal comfort. Is this ripping/burning type of pain expected? I'm assuming its nerves recovering, but curious because I havent seen this covered anywhere. TIA!
I had bad scar tissue from abdominal liposuction, so my new ABS surgeon said he was going to break up scar tissue with a cannula and fat graft. I didn't have pain before. When I woke up something was wrong, i had extreme burning from my belly button down to my pelvis. It felt like I was stabbed. It's been 7 months and it still burns and hurts and I have this bulge i never had. It looks like I'm pregnant. I think I have diastasis recti, is that even possible? Can a cannula cause diastasis recti?
I had laser liposuction 10 weeks ago. During my procedure, while in the area of my hips, ribs and breastbone, I felt what I can only describe as electrocution ... I was screaming, crying and begging the doctor to stop, but she didn't. I was in so much pain. Here it is 10 weeks later and not only am I still very swollen, but in the areas that I felt electrocuted, I have much pain in my hip bones, ribs and breastbone. Along with the pain I have severe burning in the same areas. Any suggestions?
Im 3 month post op tummy tuck and lipo. I still wear my faja day and night Im jut not comfortable without it yet. While I sleep on my back in the middle of the night my lower back feels hot and bums. I have to loosen my faja and take off the blankets and sleep on my side to help with pain. The cold air helps . I do not feel this during the day while Im standing, siting or walking its only while I sleep. During the day its very minimal and tiny shocks here and there.
Hello, I had liposuction on my stomach back and waist 9 weeks ago, parts of my stomach is hard and lumpy lots of itchiness on back and stomach I have also a lot of tingle burning warm sensation in my back. Also could the heat be a sign of infection or inflammation I had my surgery abroad. Do I need to see my general doctor or is this all apart of healing what should I do .
Now I'm six weeks post op I must say I do look fabulous still bumps and little dents but I see the differance in my abdominal stomach and back rolls. My question is my skin feels like its burning is this normal? Cocoa butter helps but only temporary is there anything else I could use to help with this sensation.
I am 8 weeks post op. Lipo of flanks and lower back. I have had to go back and get fluid drained out of my back 3 times. Last one was a couple weeks ago. I am still in pain in places on my back; sore to the touch, numbness and most of all a painful tearing and burning sensation when I move. Im starting to worry that this may be permanent? Can anyone relate or explain what s happening? Help! I am a 46yo female in pretty good health otherwise.
