I had lipo in my abdomen and flank areas about 7 years ago. I never got the flat results I was hoping for--I have some firm lumps that may be scar tissue as well as a dent where too much was removed. I've tried lymphatic drainage, warm sculpting, Sculptura injections. Nothing worked. I'm considering a revision BUT Ive also had persistent nerve pain (stinging, burning) since the surgery. Is post-lipo neuralgia common and will a revision make it worse?
I had a fat transfer about 3 years ago and after I developed a seroma followed by severe scar tissue. The surgeon went back in and cut out the worst part of the scar tissue and then scraped apart the upper part that was still adhered to the tissue slightly. I now have almost like a fluid filled puff sack left over. It's been over a year since that recession. Is there any hope for me? The surgeon wants me to do cool sculpting to help the bulge. I want to find a new Dr. that can help.
I had liposuction 3 times in the course of my life. I had a tummy tuck in 2014 and I think I had developed scar tissue on the lower abdomen. It's this hard ball of I don't know what. All I know is it's not flat. I feel disfigured and ugly. I never had children so I think getting a TT was extreme. I am 5'1 about 135. But now the skin looks awful and I have this hard ball and I just wanted to know if lipo could fix it or if I have to live this way.
I had lipo 360 in 2021. During the healing process I developed a seroma. Whats left is scar tissue I cant get rid of. One side of my stomach is poking out more where I had the seroma. Can another round of lipo fix this or tummy tuck?
I am about to have a 2nd fat transfer to treat lipoatrophy on thighs after multiple intramuscular injections with antibiotics in my childhood. MRI scan confirmed adipose tissue is not present at the sites. An year earlier we did HA filler but I reacted to it and we had to disolve it. First graft was middle of july. He released the scar tissue and grafted 30cc per side to create soil for the next graft.Dr said he needs another 100cc per side, prp enhanced.how much fat should be suctioned total.
Likelihood of Looking Better? Aggressive lipo done Aug. 2020 by novice surgeon, and indentations created from ill fitted garment as well as from oversuction. Novice surgeon used cannula to break up scar tissue as attempt to correct irregularities while over suctioning near hip in 2021. It is possible to graft fat in the small yet severely indented portions? Please help, my self esteem is really down.
I had lipo twice, the second time was aggressive and I came out with a deformed stomach. I raked to one dr and he said I needed a tummy tuck all tho I have no extra skin which makes me concerned. The dr who did the lipo said to come in and he will put a lipo stick with a V and release the scar tissue no lipo in that area and then lightly relipo around belly button... I just want to look normal again.
I had liposuction (for the second time) on my abdomen a little over a year ago.. now i have a noticeable lump above my belly button which is more prominent on my right side. I recently had one vile of Kybella injected into the area to see if the fat will reduce in this way, but I am not sure if the lump is due to excess residual fat or scar tissue, or a combination of both. How can I determine if the lump is fibrosis tissue? And how to treat this? Cortisone injection? Kybella? Laser?
I had vaser lipo done almost 3 years ago, January 4th 2018. And I started to see some irregularities in few months to a year. She did a little revision after a year, I still don't like the result after 3 years now. It looks ugly. I paid $5000 for this in the Philippines and I'm not happy with the result. I was thinking scar tissue or excess skin. What's the solution and how much will it cost to whatever solution to do...
I had lipo on my inner thighs about 5 yrs ago, and I still have large patches of hard scar tissue under my skin. I've always been a dance and yoga enthusiast, however stretching has become very painful in that area, and my range of motion is less than half of what it used to be. I also have a little bit of rippling and lumps in those areas as well, but my main concern is the pain. Is it possible to remove the fibrosis this many years after having the procedure? If so, what are my options?
