I had a lipoma removed on my forehead. I hit my head on the fridge door less than two weeks after my surgery. I JUST got my sutures taken out when this occurred. I have a new bump on my forehead right below the incision line. I'm doing the massage scar treatments w/ vitamin E oil and doing clockwise/counterclockwise circular motions w/ the tip of my finger multiple times a day. What other treatments can I do to dissolve this new, undesirable bump?
Helllo, I am growing a lipoma in my arm pit, is that something I can ask a Plastic Surgeon to remove? I would prefer to have a clean good looking scar after the removal. I have seen so many functional but not necessarily pretty scars left from Dermatologists. I have had ultrasounds done on the area and it is confirmed to be just fatty tissue overgrowth. I could use some advice before getting butchered with an unsightly scar. Thank you
I have a large lipoma (9cm) on my left bicep that my doctors tell me is underneath my muscle which is not as common as most. This being said, my left bicep looks noticeably larger than my right bicep so I am strongly considering having it removed for cosmetic reasons. My surgeon informed me that he would like to have an orthopedic surgeon do the surgery with him since mine is in such a difficult place and may be attached to nerves. Will having it removed leave a large scar all down my arm? I am only 18 so this concerns me.
Hello, I have a lipoma on my forehead that is getting bigger. I would like to get it removed but am worried about getting a scar on my forehead. I am interested in learning about endoscopic treatment options and pricing. I already have a large forehead and am unsure if this would be a good treatment or if I should just have an incision made over the scar. Thank you
I had a head injury when I was 14, now 21 I still have what I researched to be a Lipoma. It is rather small but I was considering having it removed by a plastic surgeon. It is only about half an inch below my hairline and I was curious to know if the incision can be made where the hair grows to mask the scar. Thanks!
