Should my back still hurt 4 months after lipoma removal? (Photo)

Question

I had a 3 lipomas removed from my upper back 4months ago and the scar still itches and there is one spot in particular that hurts (near the cut but not on the cut). Should I be concerned or is this normal.

The scar appears inflamed and almost a keloid.  It can be injected with a steroid which will alleviate the itching.  The injection may need to be repeated a few tines.

The best recommendation is to contact the doctor who perform the procedure, it's for your best if the doctor check on the wound and/or prescribe medication.
In addition to other criteria such as medical indications and safety, behavioral health assessments, and so forth I recommend that you go to your certified doctor so he can guide you and do the check up necessary to assist you.
