Still lump around scar after lipoma removal? (Photo)

I had a lipoma removed on forehead almost 7 months ago. There is still a lump located around the scar where the lipoma was removed. Was told would go down after time though looking for advice?

Lipomas can be removed under local anesthesia in the office. It usually costs $1,000. You may want to get an ultrasound done to make sure it is a lipoma and it is not involving any nerves or muscles. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

I normally treat seromas with aspiration to drain them and use compression. This normally requires aspiration multiple times, but in my experience, this usually resolves the issue.
