Im 20 years old and considering a corner lip lift to address hooding at the corners of my lips and excess skin around them. Im also planning a custom jaw and chin implant, so Id like to have my lip procedure done first to ensure balanced proportions. Ive previously undergone pectus excavatum correction, so Im familiar with the surgical process and recovery. Id like to move forward as soon as possible and find a surgeon who is comfortable performing this procedure on someone my age. Ive attached front, 45-degree, and side view images, along with a morphed before-and-after to illustrate my ideal outcome. While I know the results wont be identical to the morph, it reflects the aesthetic Im aiming for. Ive also included images of me opening my mouth to provide additional detail. Would I be a good candidate for this procedure? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Male, 18. My problem is that my mouth seems to protrude further than it should. Its quite a noticeable feature and i would love to find a way of fixing it as soon as possible. The main focus is where the upper lip connects to the nose, instead of it curving in-wards like normal it looks fat and bulges outwards. I do have quite a relatively large overbite but im not so sure its to do with that. It does seem to effect it though as it looks as if the top lip is pusing down to bottom lip and chin.
Hi, in December I had facial feminization surgery and that included a lip lift. My scar has only gotten worse and more red the farther I get from surgery. in the beginning I wasnt the best at taking care of it. But have really been on top of it for the past few months. Its really stressing me out with how red and bad it is cause Im 21 and in college. Is this a hypertonic scar? Will laser help and make it be less noticeable? Is it possible to make it the scar everyone else gets? :(
I am a 21 year old female. From what i have researched the ideal philtrum to chin ratio is 1:2 and from what i have measured my ratio is approx. 1.6:2. my philtrum is approx. 15mm and my chin is approx. 25mm. Not sure if it's 100% accurate but I tried my best. Also, it seems to me that I have a receeding chin that would have to be fixed possibly before the lip lift.
Lip augmentation suggestions? 19 y/o African American who is trying to fix my lip shape. Hello to anyone who comes across this. As shown in the photos, I have a thick upper lip and I want to know if something like a lip lift would help me get a more desirable concave shape to the area between the bottom of my nose to the top of my lip. Also while Im here, I might as well ask what surgeries would help my chin. I dont like how much it protrudes and I have a deep mental crease. Is there any surgical way to reduce this?
I am 23 years old and my philtrum looks really long and I feel it makes me look older. I like the fullness of my lips but wish my philtrum were shorter. Would a bullhorn lip lift look right on me and give me a shorter philtrum with the softer pout look I want to go for. I put my finger under my lip and pushed it up to give the look I want to go for. Hello, I just turned 18. I have been wanting a lip lift and rhinoplasty for a while. I found most surgeons are turning me down for a lip lift but few are saying they will perform it. Now I'm scared to get it done Bc a majority are saying I'm too young. What is the right answer? I know u can get scarring but I can do a few laser treatments after.
Hello doctors, I have a long philtrum for my age, i am just 21 but my philtrum measures 17mm and makes my face look longer and disproportionate do i need a lip lift, but here's the catch, i have adequate tooth show so probably this problem pertains to underlying skeletal problem i really want my philtrum shortened , i have an already narrow face and a long philtrum at that just worsens things Please help!!
