Some history: I had extensive orthodontic work for 7 years as a child and although my teeth came out in great shape, I believe it really messed up my lips, especially when I'm smiling. My lips are naturally thin, but my upper lip would get caught on my top set of braces, causing the skin on the inside of my lip to sag down. It also made my smile just overall very uneven. I'm thinking a lip lift will not only balance my face a little better, but also fix the unevenness of my lips.
Hello! Im not sure if there is a relation but I had jaw surgery (Korea v line jaw surgery) & braces. Ever since then, my lips look droopy in the corners & philtrum looks longer. I had lip fillers done to make it look less longer which helped a little but I was wondering if a lip lift would be better or just Botox in the DAO would be good enough for the corners? I also have a gummy smile so I was wondering if getting botox for that would also cause the philtrum to look longer? Thank you!
I have been considering a lip lift for a very long time. Ive consulted many doctors from plastic surgeons to dentists to orthodontists etc. I had braces as a teen and then Invisalign in my twenties. My teeth are high and the bridge is right under my nose. Im not sure how long my upper lip is but Ive always thought the bull horn lip lift may give me a toothier smile. Any suggestions, ideas, recommendations etc thank you!!
I've considered a lip lift (upper and maybe corner), for better facial proportions & more tooth show. Also to fix the asymmetry. Also considering composite veneers for bigger, wider and longer teeth. What can I do to fix my smile? also lumps (not fillers) around lips ruining the look of my teeth and smile. (more obvious in person) *please note I had fillers 5 months ago on my lip (.7ml upper .3ml lower center) & Ive had braces for spacing 6 yrs ago. Have considered braces for slight relapse.
I have asymmetrical lips and teeth. To fix the issue, I wore braces for 4 years as an adult, got permanent lip augmentation, and also had my lips tattooed. Obviously everything is still very crooked. The lips actually look worse now. Is there anything that can improve this? Thank you.
When I was little I had bad prominent buck teeth that would rest on the outside of my bottom lip when my mouth was relaxed and closed. I received braces (first chunky retainers, then train tracks then regular night time retainers) so my teeth are now straight, and the retainers helped to push my jaw forward a little. However I feel like my lips have a distorted shape and form. Would a lip lift fix this issue or is are there any non-surgical and non invasive solutions?
