Doing whole body (except face/neck which I heard has hit/miss results so considering electrolysis for that). - if it is painless why do others still use painful lasers? - how effective is it compared to other lasers? I am south asian black hair type lll-IV skin - I have an upcoming second session. My first session the provider did not get to all hairs for my Brazilian (some are deep in the inner labia and perineum).. how do I ask her to go there as well
I`ve had 12 sessions with alma soprano ice platinum and i dont know if i should continue. My legs have been responding really well but my arms still have about 60% of the hair. It grows slower and thinner but its been a year. The bikini zone also has around 50-60% of the hair. Should i switch to smth else and if so to what? The salon recommended that we use a punctual technique next time so no more those extensive motions. Do my hair vitamins also interfere? Should i stop taking them? Thanks!
the Cynosure Apogee Elite compared to the Soprano Ice platinum laser? I've done one treatment with the Cynosure and was painful but doable. My friend just got a treatment done with Soprano and she said it was painless. Which laser is better long term? Is the Soprano better just because it's painless but might not go deeper to the root than the Cynosure? Please help me choose which one is better.
So I'm looking into booking in for laser hair removal, however I'm torn between 2 clinics, both have outstanding reviews but use different lasers. One clinic uses the Candela gentle max pro and the other uses the Soprano ICE. I would like like to choose the one that has the most effective laser but I am unsure which one that is. I have very pale skin and my natural hair colour is a medium/mousy brown colour. I don't mind if any of them are painful, I would just like great results:) thank you!
I already had 3 laser sessions. I had my 4th session 4 days ago on my face and this time it was done on a big laser machine. I had a burn on right side of my cheek. It was swollen and red for 2 days and now it has settle down but i have a big mark left on my face. I am applying ice packs, aloe vera gel and Polysporin on the mark but i am scared that how long its gonna take for it to fade away and is it normal to have a burn like this?
They used laser hair removal for my entire body. I have dark hair and olive skin. it workes on my legs but my back ( I have an unusually hairy back as a woman) and it did not work. It is over 2 years! I used to have a hormonal imbalance which is treated and everything is normal now. The machine was Soprano XL is there any more effective technology available? Thanks.
Hello, I'm a female with fair light skin and months ago I started laser hair removal. I wanted to target unusual dark hairs on my stomach (docs told me I have increased hormonal sensitivity, but no disbalance). I was told SHR was the best and the safest, so I went for that. I've had about 6 procedures on my belly and 4 on my armpits, and I feel like I should've gotten better results. A friend got bigger results with older and painful technology. I know it differs, but I wonder about my choice.
I did an underarm test patch with the soprano alma laser and was amazed that after 1 treatment I looked almost hairless! So I went back and my underarms have responded well with hair falling out after a labour 10days. However, the bikini area is t as impressive. The inner area which was a little painful and sensitive during treatment doesn't seem to have helped. Hair appears lighter but hasn't fallen off in that area.
I am of south Asian heritage with black hair and fair skin. Until now I had had 8 sessions of YAG laser 8 weeks apart on my full body . As you can imagine up to now I have spent a lot of money laser. I was advised 12 sessions was the maximum I needed however my hair is still growing back but not as thick. I want to try another laser one that actually works ..what would you recommend as you hear only certain lasers work on certain skin tones. I have heard that the Soprano laser is quiet good.
well i've had 5 laser hair removal treatments with the soprano xl laser the first 3 treatments went well and i saw results after 1 treatment but then after the 4th treatment my hair grew back much thicker. and i never had thick black hair before i started with laser hair removal. my skin color is pale with black fine hairs. and after the 5th treatment my hair grew back after 2 days really thick what is going on? it's really like man hair of a female it's really thick and it grows super fast help??
